Room was fantastic…suitable for our family. With one double bed room , and another twin room. We find the place clean and comfortable and definitely value for the amount paid.

Blue bay is perfect for a typically Mauritian beach holiday. There are no large shops or fancy restaurants. There is a shopping centre a short ride away, but in general this is a quiet area, which is exactly what we wanted. It was our fifteenth, yes 15th visit to Le Peninsula Bay hotel, and it is perfect for our needs. The hotel is not a 4 or 5 star, but a very good 3 star. Most rooms have sea views. Try the Ocean View rooms. Really worth it.

Excellent beach.
Excellent beach. Lots of outdoor options -- boat trips, SCUBA, snorkelling, wildlife tours. The Bougainville Restaurant was superb.
The nearby BoVallon Shopping Centre was new, and a great place to shop.

Near the Air Port. Excellent shopping Mall. Great local markets. Many good (local) restaurants. Great diving spot.
Driving in Mauritius is a challenge. Although they drive on the left (Like in South Africa) the roads are mostly very narrow. Motorists stop on these narrow streets to pop into a shop. You have to find a way around them. The M2 highway is a very good road, but full of roundabouts. Every 3,4 Km there is a roundabout.

The village is quit silent and there are not so many people.
What is little bit disadvantage, there is just one small shop and only about three restaurants. If you are looking for night life is better to go to the flic flac resort. But we were very happy about staying in Blue Bay.

What an amazing place to stay and the locals where very friendly and always willing to assist when needed. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys snorkeling. Just remember when you go to take your snorkels and shoes to go into the sea. This was a beautiful and amazing holiday with so much beauty.
Exceptional location, located on the beach of Blue Bay. Stayed in a seafront unit with great views. Unit had kitchenette with full size refrigerator. Was able to park onsite. Breakfast included. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Due to late flight and checkout, we were offered a transit room for free, which helped us a lot. Restaurants in walking distance, across road. Shopping Centre 3-4km with everything. Great snorkelling in front of Blue Beryl with beautiful corals. Great place.
Its located right on the beach..Just open the back door and u r on the majestic Blue bay beach..The home is well cleaned..No doubts in cleanliness..The washroom was huge and sunlight reached in every corner of it.The kitchen was well equipped and well kept...The host is super helpful..She tried her contacts to book us for the restaurant, Catamaran,Snorkelling. She herself came with us to show the property and explained everything about it..
The property is very nice, located close to the public beach of Blue Bay with some infrastructure around (restaurants, bars).
I made a roadtrip around the island staying in Le Peninsular the first and the last night (close to the airport, 15min by car), which was perfect.
The last night I got an uodate and had a wonderful room with a balcony overlooking the pool area and the ocean, amazing!

Our holiday in Villa Verde was amazing! The Villa has a nice garden full of greenery with a big swimming pool, which we really enjoyed. It is located 10 minutes from Blue Bay Beach and had everything what we needed. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help. Thanks for everything!!!

Excellent location as it was quiet but within walking distance to the beach and bus stop etc by Blue Bay. Room was spacious and clean. Host was friendly, its an ideal place to spend a couple of days before you return home as close to the airport.
Location near the airport is ideal for an early departure and enables more sleep and a relaxed departure. We haven't tried the beach house and various shuttles they offer. If they are any good the hotel might gain some points back.
Really nice place right on the beach of the famous blue bay. You will find beautiful corals just short distance off the beach which was amazing to see!
