We stayed a week in this very spacious apartment. The communication with Diane was very good before and during our holidays. The apartment has a small balcony looking towards the sea and the container terminal which was really interesting with the huge ships being unloaded. There's a good bathing spot just 2 min away across the street and we always found a car park close to our house. Everything was as described and working well. It was nice to find AC converters for our mobile phone chargers as well as soap, shampoo, etc. A bus stop was located just in front of the house for easy transfer to Valetta. We enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend Birzebbugga and the apartment for excursions in this part of Malta.

In fact, the apartment looks better in real life than in the picture. Very comfortable, large and bright apartment. Public transport stop -2 minutes, shops, bars, 5 minutes and the beach. The whole island of Malta is not that big, so it doesn't realy matter in which part of island you are located. Birżebbuga is less crowded with tourists and offers long walk along the coast.
It has two nice sandy beaches with clear water. There is also a playground on the Pretty bay beach.

Birżebbuġa is a nice town, not overly touristy. It has good bus links to Valletta and is a great destination for those who want to enjoy a quieter area while exploring the rest of Malta. There are several restaurants in the town, and you can also explore the cultural and historical sites. There are plenty of opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, evening walks, good food and discovering Malta's unique charms.

Love Valletta and touring the area the people are very friendly.
Easy bus route cant believe how easy and cheap it is to get a bus which stopped right outside our apartment. why cant England do this.?

Had a great break in Birzebbuga lovely beach nice restaurants lots of convenience stores for provisions. Bakery under the apartment with a wide selection. Local transport was regular. The apartment was beautiful well equipped great location beautiful views, will definitely stay again.

Birzebugga is not a typical touristic destination, it is...
Birzebugga is not a typical touristic destination, it is more the place for locals to make BBQ on the beach or relax at the sandy beach.
Birzebugga's beauty is limited by it's industrial surroundings, the pollution and the container port, the airport is also nearby, so especially landing aircrafts can make a noise.
There are some good restaurants, e.g. POSH - Turkish, Bob's Kitchen - street BBQ on weekends or walking along the beach Dar is-Sajjied, a family run bistro in St.George's Bay. There are good restaurants in Marsaxlokk, we visited T'AnnaMarie.
The public transportation is well organized, UBER, Bolt are on Malta also not overpriced.

This is a great location for a nice safe beach, proximity to the airport and good access to public transport to Valletta and other parts of Malta. We live on Gozo but this is one of our favorite places for mini vacations on Malta.

Amazing place with the best location! it’s a little bit far from the centre of Malta, but buses and taxi are available (bus stop - 2 min)

Apartment is so pretty!
if you would like to be in the heart of night life you should not stay in Birzebbuga. But for us it was perfect!
Also you should understand it’s not 5* hotel.
The apartment was very clean, spacious and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable.
Just outside the apartment, there is a bus stop for Valetta. Walking distance to Pretty Bay and you can even walk to Marsaslock. Mini market just around the corner.
Owner Diane super polite and great in communication.

Appartment is clean and new, there's a big balcony from where you can see the pretty bay. Very close to pretty bay, 1-2 minutes by walk. And the bus stop is just in front of the door. There are also some restaurants downstairs, very convenient.
