Ayla Studio house is in the center of Birzebugga, 15 min from airport by car. Owner Kathleen is great always on disposal. House has everythig you need and more. You really feel like at home. Bonus is nice terrace. Grocery shops, caffes and restaurants are near by. I would recommend Ayla Studio, it is great.

Firstly, the host was super helpful and friendly and the communication between us was very smooth and easy .
The appartment was cute, cosy and clean and honestly exceeded our expectations by far.
Finally about the location it is close to both Marsaskloxx and Birzebugga (walkable distance) where someone can experience the local - less-touristic Malta.
Highly recommended!

Good location in a fairly quiet area. Shared patio area was a lovely setting with a great view and nice to eat a takeaway on with a glass of wine while the sun sets.

Easy bus route cant believe how easy and cheap it is to get a bus which stopped right outside our apartment. why cant England do this.?

Had a great break in Birzebbuga lovely beach nice restaurants lots of convenience stores for provisions. Bakery under the apartment with a wide selection. Local transport was regular. The apartment was beautiful well equipped great location beautiful views, will definitely stay again.

Birzebugga is not a typical touristic destination, it is more the place for locals to make BBQ on the beach or relax at the sandy beach.
Birzebugga's beauty is limited by it's industrial surroundings, the pollution and the container port, the airport is also nearby, so especially landing aircrafts can make a noise.
There are some good restaurants, e.g. POSH - Turkish, Bob's Kitchen - street BBQ on weekends or walking along the beach Dar is-Sajjied, a family run bistro in St.George's Bay. There are good restaurants in Marsaxlokk, we visited T'AnnaMarie.
The public transportation is well organized, UBER, Bolt are on Malta also not overpriced.

This is a great location for a nice safe beach, proximity to the airport and good access to public transport to Valletta and other parts of Malta. We live on Gozo but this is one of our favorite places for mini vacations on Malta.

We enjoyed the view from our hotel.
We enjoyed the view from our hotel. We had a lovely resturant and bars under the hotel.
Despite it being near the Malta freeport we did not get disturbed by any noise from it.
Nearly every evening was Bingo outside our hotel , but it finished by 10.30PM and did not disturb our sleep.

Birzebugga is an interesting town with a number of beaches , restaurants and bars . Everything is easy walking distance but with an extensive bus network nothing is more than a few minutes away . Also easy travel to the next village Marsaxlokk with its sunday fish and flea market and on other days of the week outdoor harbour seating for all the sea facing restaurants
The spaciousness, quietness, cleanliness, proximity to the Pretty Bay beach, closeness to Bus Stops and local grocery stores. The three bedrooms and main living area were each equipped with Air-conditioning units which were whisper quiet. We live on the Island of Gozo and like to visit Birzebbuga when we have family members (in this case our daughter) visiting from overseas.The apartment is less than 20 minutes by bus from the airport and there are three buses an hour which serve the airport.
This was our fourth stay at the Water's Edge, we particularly like the location with the views of Pretty Bay and the non-stop operations / shipping movements at the Freeport. We also like the convenient access to the bus terminal and proximity to Malta Airport. We find the rooms to be quiet and the optional continental breakfast to be more than satisfying ad very good value for money. The beach at this location is expansive, sandy and safe.
It was very nice apartment. You can use air conditioning for whole time it was lovely have AC during that hot weather. It was only 5 minutes walking to the beach. Also if you will travel from airport to Birzebbuga it is only 20 minutes ride. You will have 2 shops very close to the apartment and you can go eat near to the beach there are nice restaurants and try some local food.

The owners kindly left for us an amazing and unexpected welcome package: ham, cheese, milk, cereals, water, wine, fruit!
The location is great as it is in a quiet street, just a few minutes walk from Pretty Bay beach, where you can find several bars, restaurants and grocery stores.

The property Pretty Bay Apartments does not offer catering. There are many bars in the area where you can eat well and cheaply. The flat itself is located very close to the beach. Just cross the street and you are already there. Contact with the owner was very good. He answered any questions quickly. Very good transport links allow you to visit other locations in Malta.
The guesthouse is in the city center and next to the beach of Birzebbuga. The room was small, but cosy, the bed very comfortable and we had a big balcony facing to the beach and the industrial port. In the same building on the ground and the first floor you have several restaurants. The beach is a sandy one, on the other side of the main road, in front of the building.
The apartment was exactly as advertised, modern,clean, and well equipped plus in a Very good location, just a 2 minute walk to the beach in pretty bay, the host Ivano was very polite,helpful and quick to respond to any queries that we had, we really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful apartment and will certainly stay there again.
Everything was perfect! Especially the host David, he is very helpful and caring. The apartment is close the bus stop, but you can reach many places by foot, like Ghar Dalam (it's very close), Marsaxlokk, Pretty Bay beach, etc. There is a lot of things to do and see.
The Angolina Apartments are very well located - just near the Pretty Bay, close to bars and restaurants and small nice beach.
The owner was very kind, we got the extra sheets when we asked. For a short stay it's more than enough!
