Beautiful setting, set back overlooking the beach and Nosy Tanga visible from both our balcony and the pool. The staff were attentive and always accommodating. We ended up dining here every night, with the excellent food prepared for us on our balcony each night whilst absorbing the stunning sunsets.

Orangea Beach Resort, hotel in Djamandjary

Situated in Andilana, 30 km from Lokobe Reserve, Orangea Beach Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a bar and a private beach area.

The best thing about this property is personnel. The guys who work at the reception and restaurant are really the ones who make the stay. Friendly and good. Unfortunately they have to compel for all the stupid policies of the owner. Kitchen is not bad most of the time. But not always.

Chez Senga, hotel in Djamandjary

Featuring a terrace, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, Chez Senga is located in Madirokely, a few steps from Madirokely Beach and 1.2 km from Ambatoloaka Beach.

I really liked the food. Varying menu of dishes, at very reasonable prices, with the catch of the day. Sometimes snack/food vendors also drop by (special thanks to the guy who sells oysters and the Samosa lady). The owners speak fairly good English, are very friendly, patient and helpful when you're lost, confused and don't speak a word French. The room is spacious and clean, you can dry your clothes/towels on the terrace (the rooms are over ground level) or just sit there with a drink and enjoy the sunset. Oh and there's Wifi!
