Extremely hospitable hosts, an immaculately clean and charming studio apartment surrounded by a lovely garden, in a peaceful but centrally located setting. The unit has a seperate entrance and private veranda. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend highly to others visiting Kolasin.

The property was very close to the Biogradska gora as well as Durmitor national parks which were our destination. The owner was very friendly and approachable.

The ski route is very limited.
The ski route is very limited. One of the ski lifts is always out of order. Only 2-3 restaurants with an average menu are very expensive. Less snow and the scenery is surrounded by construction sites. Look for better destinations than Kolasin.

Beuatiful nature, good skiing areas.
Beuatiful nature, good skiing areas. The food on the other hand is disgusting. You can not find even a barely decent restaurant. People there must urgently hire real cooks. It is impossible to have more than 2 meals there. Very sorry for this

This is our third or fourth visit to Kolašin, a very pleasant little city with a nice hometown feel. It is very walkable - the pedestrian street is always alive with people strolling or sitting in cafes. Several really nice restaurants featuring lots of local specialties. Restaurant Vodenica, right next to a rushing stream, is a particular gem. They also have live music in evenings during tourist season. Kolašin is the perfect spot for visiting Biograsko Jezero - lake and national park - which is a must. Morača Monastery is also not far away, and there are also numerous local hikes one can do. The tourist information office is quite helpful.
(I should note that we've only ever been here in the summertime so I can't comment on the winter sports scene.)

This place is difficult if you don't have a car as buses are few & far between. On weekends they almost don't exist. There are some wonderful hiking destinations, such as Mrtvica Canyon 30 kms away, but so difficult to get there & back, plus the area is very badly signposted. Kolasin is nice but we cannot say it is 'user-friendly'.

We enjoyed the mountain air and the small-town feeling...
We enjoyed the mountain air and the small-town feeling Kolasin had to offer. The food was good; the prices inexpensive. Obviously one does not travel to Kolasin just to see the town: there’s not much there to see. The town is replete with dilapidated houses, cheap Chinese toy shops, and dirty, stray dogs. But nonetheless, it had a certain charm.
Skiing was our reason to visit. The mountain, which is just 15 minutes up the road was perfect for a young family. The lift tickets are very cheap (comparatively to anywhere else in the US or Europe), and, as long as there is snow, one is sure to have a good time. We figured, with young kids, regardless of where we skied, we would have spent most of the time on beginner hills anyway, so why not visit a smaller ski resort and skip the crowds and prices. The ski lodge was cozy. And since most skiers on the mountain were also guests in the town, it added to the small-town, family feel.
We had a great time at Modern Mounatin Mystic Hotel. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. In addition, they also have a nice restaurant in the hotel. The neighborhood is very conveniently located!
The owner was very accommodating and helpful letting us check in early to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
The "Mushroom" house is an amazing achievement both artistically and architecturally. Looking at it from the outside you would never believe there is room inside for three people to stay comfortably. Everything is well thought to the last detail. A small kitchen and bathroom are fully functional and central heating allows for winter holidays. Located in walking distance from Kolašin town center, it is a unique spot and a true gem of the region.
Lovely, tiny chalet in pristine condition with a delightful balcony and authentic vibe. Location was perfect with a river view and close to everything we needed, including a grocery store, centre of town and the best restaurant in Kolasin. Hosts were incredibly helpful and nice. Chalet was even nicer than the photos inside. I was worried I might be cold but it was very cosy and warm.
Riverside Kolasin was the perfect getaway for our family. We enjoyed eating meals near the beautiful river and listening to the water as we slept. We were able to relax and enjoy the time together. We appreciated the amenities and the hosts were helpful and responded quickly with anything we needed. We hope to return soon.
The location was great because it is right in between Biogradska Gora park entrance and the quaint town of Kolasîn. Cabin was a bit small as we were four but it was not an issue for our one night stay. There were 2 twin beds and one full bed so it was comfortable for sleeping. Host was very nice and accommodating.
Everything was great. A warm welcome was expecting us by the owners at arrival. The place is located next to the river, very clean, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The Hospitality of the owners made us feel at home. We strongly recomend it for your staying in Kolasin.
Very friendly and keen to please hostess, with home-baked treats offered for free. Great facilities for self-catering and fantastic value for money. Loved the location - quiet but near to the centre. Second stay here and wouldn't consider anywhere else in Kolasin.
Very nice and quiet hotel...
Nice and helpful staff...
Location was perfect, just a walk to the center...
Breakfast and "Raki" that the owner offered was very nice...
Price was very convenient. I would definitely come back here
Good location, pleasurable atmosphere, great view from the room (6th floor). Friendly reception staff, good cleaning of the room. Free parking for hotel guests. Big pool in nice decor. Tea set in the room would have been nice.
