Everything was amazing. Shashi's hospitality is top notch. The breakfast was scrumptious and filling. There's a private beach access which was wonderful. Sea is a bit rough but still enjoyable. There are many restaurants nearby. Bed has a mosquito net so didn't face any bug problems.
For travel, I would highly suggest Uber or Pickmeright.

The place is located some 5 minute away from the village/Road. Very quiet and amazing at evening and night. Unobstracted view on green Meadows and trees. Full of wildlife. We saw flying foxes, bats, monkeys, frogs and variety of birds. The swimming pool was perfect. We had the place to ourselves only. The room was spacious for a family of 5. The breakfasts were different each Day (We chose local meals) and tasty. The owner is friendly, helpful and Speaks good English. We enjoyed the stay.

I liked the location which, for birding was excellent. It was also a little way from the main tourist centres but only a 15 minute walk to the beach. The accommodation itself was excellent with a lovely pool, nice little kitchen and a friendly cat!
The caretaker host, Krishna, was impeccable, friendly and efficient. The bed was comfy and the ac sufficient.

Located a short walk from the main road & beach. The grounds are well maintained with different palm trees, shrubs, hedges etc. The manager Mr Amit was friendly & very helpful. He has his own tuk tuk & his price is very reasonable.
My garden view room was near the front entrance. Sufficient shelving & hanging space as well as a table & 2 chairs. There was a complimentary fruit basket as well. Everything worked fine. Lighting was just okay. I did not use the kitchen area.
The bed had clean linens & afforded a comfortable sleep. There was a power point beside the bed. It was handy having the mozzie net already set up.
The bathroom had a seperate enclosed shower recess with good hot water & pressure.
The terrace out front had a table & 2 chairs. The pool was a decent size & very refreshing from the heat. A decent size roofed area with plenty of tables & chairs located adjacent to the pool.
Ovetall, I had a comfortable & relaxing stay.

We were welcomed with a drink fresh from the fruit from the garden. The garden is calm and beautiful. Good and various breakfast. They drove us to the airport what was very relaxt. Thank you so much for the stay. If we go back to Sri Lanka we will definitely stay here again!

I love this place for its beauty and architecture and have been coming here for years (the first time 30 years ago as it was my Sri Lankan father’s favourite) . However the profile of the hotel seems to have changed -accommodating large groups of badly behaved guests has brought the experience down .

The villa has everything you need for comfort. The main building has 2 bedrooms - each for 2 person - and a large living room between them. Kitchen with all necessary is located separately. And also there is a bedroom with a small kitchen and a separate entrance on the second floor.
15 minutes walk to the nearest beach.

Located just right on the beach, you can see the ocean from the room. The room was clean, hot water, A/C was working. The breakfast was very good. If you have any preferences in the way of cooking, you can ask the guys and they will try to do all the best for you. The beach is very nice and empty. Nothing to do around, but if you are exhausted and want just to have a rest in peace and quiet-this is the perfect place for you.

We stayed our first night in Sri Lanka at this place. The stay was great: just near the ocean to have a breakfast there and relax. Shashi and her family did everything to help us enjoying it with welcoming drinks, tasty food and all travel support further. The place is welcoming tidy. We came here by a recommendation from our friend and will definitely recommend it further!

It’s very close to a superb beach, which is lovely even off season, for walks. The host, Ankie, took me for a drive through Bentota, Aluthgama and Beruwala. I took the train from Induruwa to Hikkaduwa, it was an old train but I loved it !

Great location. This villa is right next to the beach. No where before have I found the beach to be so accessible. The food at the place was superb. Outstanding service, friendly and helpful staff. Nice showers with a lot of warm water. Clean and beautiful rooms! Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back!
