I have just stayed for a day because I didn’t want to spent...
I have just stayed for a day because I didn’t want to spent around 25 dollars for the ancient cite. But I have walked around and prayed in Siri Maha Bodhi Tree area which is a massive and fascinating place! I have visited some other places such as Isurumuni Royal Temple and even sat down in front of the meditation stone and meditated there for a bit and it’s a very chanting place to be!

The old city and temple complex is huge and takes a long time to walk around. In many parts you are not allowed to wear shoes or hats, so if you don’t want burnt feet, take some socks and wear sunscreen and carry water.

1) No hot water in the shower.

2) A whirring / drilling noise that kept me up all night, perhaps coming from one of the hotel pumps / generators from above. When I enquired about this at reception I was told that “the hotel was full” and my questions as to what it could be were rebuffed with a “goodnight”.
3) There were no batteries in the remote for the tv.
4) Which didn’t make much difference as the tv didn’t work anyway when I swapped out the batteries for the air con.
5) The air con worked but didn’t turn down meaning that I had to constantly turn it on and off.
6) The swimming pool had safety issues in that the side of the pool had a suction hole which sucked people in if they got close. Thankfully it was only me that discovered it and not the kids.
7) our drivers quarters were full of cockroaches and he was asked to give up his fan for a “guest” half way through the night.

Anuradhapura is ancient city in Sri Lanka .There are plenty of places to visit in Anuradhapura. Ruwanweliseya is one of the best remarkable place in the world because lord buddha's spiritual value hidden inside there. All Buddhist and non Buddhist people should visit there .
The hotel is easy to find. Our accommodation was a very liberating place for us. Our room was very clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable and I love the decor of the hotel. It is very tastefully done and many will like it. I found the reception staff to be very friendly, prompt and responsive. I was very happy to get a late check out after my little request. My girlfriend and I stayed for one day and ended the day very pleasantly at CTC Hotel..If I go to Anuradhapura again I will not think twice about choosing CTC Hotel.
This is a very nice place in Anuradhapura, which is located closer to Isurumuniya temple, and a short drive to other religious places. The staff consists of friendly local people who are committed to make you comfortable. The food is fine. The veg chop suey was delicious. They have breakfast and dinner buffets with some local cuisine and bread. The dining area has nice views. If you need a taxi (because Uber is not much available in this city) the hotel can provide you some contacts, which is very helpful.
I stayed two nights with my parents during our visit to Anuradhapura. Room was clean and expected all our requirements. And we took breakfast and the dinner from the hotel and we really enjoyed all the meals.
My mom got sick during the trip and hotel owner was very kind enough to provide all the requirements to make her comfortable enough until we leave the hotel. We leave the hotel with such a heavy heart because of the hospitality we received from the hotel.
Brand new venue with Breathtaking views.Undoubtedly the most beautiful hotel in Anuradhapura. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food, clean and spacious rooms. They even provide “kiri aahara” (Milk Rice offerings)to the visitors upon request. All requests were promptly attended to. Special thanks to Mr Sanath, Mrs Renuka and Ms Piyumi at the front office.

The rooms were also very clean. They are providing dinner and breakfast. Everything I ate there was very tasty. It was one of the most delicious food I ate in Sri Lanka. Definetly recommend it.
Everything about this place was perfect. Very close proximity to all the places in puja city- Anuradhapura. Easy access, good parking. Friendly staff, Caretacker Mahinda and Piumi was execptional. Room was so comfy, spacious. Clean towels and beddings. Seems better than a star hotel. Worth the price you pay.
Pali was an incredible host. We spent a whole afternoon visiting the sacred places in Anuradhapura and I was so lucky to do it during the full moon fest. Pali share all that energy with me. The place is so comfortable and clean, really good value for the money. I will repeat the next time in Sri Lanka.
Excellent value for money. Very friendly service at the hotel, with good breakfasts and dinner, and cheap bicycles to cycle around the old city of Anuradhapura, which isn't that far off. Spotlessly clean (though small) room. Would definitely stay again.
The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and modern. The restaurant has great food! The hotel also arranged a private tourgide to visit Mihintale and the temples. He gave us the best Anuradhapura experience.
