The property had an amazing view and pool areal was very clean and safe -great in the heat of the Italian summer
If you are a seasoned traveller and don't mind getting the train any time you want to go anywhere (as taxis are NOT a thing and apparently cost €70 according to the hote if you want to go anywhere l) and know what you're doing, the location is completely fine and a great second if you can't afford sorrento like us -bonus it had a lovely pool with a view which is mega bucks in Sorrento.

Excellent, my only regret was not having the opportunity to stay longer.
Overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, Grand Hotel Angiolieri has a seafront location in the village of Seiano. There is a restaurant serving Italian and international cuisine.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone in a heartbeat. The staff were amazing, the location is something else, the breakfasts were incredible, pool and spa are lovely, really handy hotel shuttle service into town. Will definitely be back here in the future

The view is outstanding but that’s it. Nice to have the pool closes at 7pm.
Eden Bleu is set on the most beautiful beach of the entire Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. The hotel has a roof-garden with swimming pool. Rooms are typically Mediterranean.

Hotel Oriente is located in Vico Equense, 25 km from Naples. The hotel has a hot tub. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant, and a sun terrace in the adjacent building.
Comfortable room, good breakfast buffet, helpful staffs. I did not have a chance to use any amenities.

It was a great location. There just so happened to be the Pizza Festival of Vico Equense during our stay. This hotel was a perfect location to the festival- walking distance (5min walk). There was tremendous traffic getting to Sorrento coast for our boat tours- it took close to 1 hr.

Vico Equense is a great base to explore Sorrento and Pompeii. It is easy to get to. It has some wonderful views over the bay towards Vesuvius and some very pretty alley ways. It is small and nice to walk around.
It is stated that the town is quiet. It is not, a main road runs through it that is very noisy and busy. (We were there in September and found that at early evening time the traffic was none stop). This is not good if you want a quiet meal and drink. We found that most restaurants were overpriced, but saying this we did come across a restaurant called Titos and would recommend them for their excellent service and food.
Areas of the town needed a bit of a clean (litter and weeds) but we could say this about most of Italy.
Major tip to tourists. You cannot book local train tickets on line, they are easy to get at the train station offices, are frequent and cost very little. (They are a little packed though). Do not get the Campania Express - yes you may get a seat, but it is three times the cost of the local trains and total rip off.

A lovely, quaint town, not touristy at all like the neighboring Sorrento and Capri. The only thing it was missing was a taxi, or a bus. We could have used a taxi from the train station, especially when we had all our luggage. We ate at Cerase with a beautiful view of the city, and the food was great!

Not crowded. Nice people.
Not crowded. Nice people. Almost everybody speaks English - which it was a huge plus for us as our Italian is very bad (non-existent to be more precise) :))
The walks to the beaches (as anywhere in that part of Italy) are a bit hard, especially during summer. But (if you make it there), the beaches are not very crowded, which is a huge plus.

A wonderful city.
A wonderful city. Very compact center with many good restaurants. Beautiful views of the sea and Vesuvius. Responsive residents. Nearby are Sorrento, Positano, Capri. Rome is 2.5 hours away. It is hard to imagine a better place to relax!
The location of the hotel is excellent, in a gulf with a marina and restaurants around. There is free parking. The reception people are very helpful and polite. The room with a sea side view is pure luck. You can get one with a view of the sea and you can get one with a wall facing you and a view of the sea on the far side. The size of the room and the bathroom are ok, the bed is big, there is a big safe that can fit a laptop. The breakfast is excellent. It is very near Sorrento and you can reach it by car in 10 minutes or bus or train.
Staff were amazing. Lovely and really helpful, no request was enough, and we did ask a lot.
Food for dinner was really delicious, best we had the whole stay in Italy!
Nice view of Vesuvius from a couple of the rooms.
Breakfast very full and fresh.
So so close to the lovely harbour.
Can book a bed at the beach club, 5min walk, for €12 if you want a sea view whilst you tan.
It's a 20min walk to the train, up the road (fastest) or path to Vico Equense (longer), but there are also buses.
Boats to Capri and Amalfi direct.
Hotel Mary was ideal hotel in the lovely Vico Equense. The location is excellent, a very pleasant 5 min walk to the centre of the town and 10 mins from the train station. The hotel is overlooking the beautiful vistas of the sea, surrounding hills and the marina below. The staff were excellent, always very helpful and friendly. We spent most days at the beach club which was stunning and the staff there were again to be commended. Hotel also has a beautiful Spa which I would highly recommend to help unwind and relax!
I had a wonderful experience at the Hotel during my stay in Italy. The staff at the hotel was exceptional, providing excellent service throughout my visit. The hotel's convenient location near the bus station made it easy for me to explore the city. Additionally, the option for affordable parking was a great benefit. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the amazing breakfast that was served each morning. I highly recommend the Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Italy.
Location and property was quiet but close to bus stop for larger nearby town of Vico Equense with loads of nice restaurants. Sorrento and Pompeii easy to get to from there too. Walking distance of smaller village of Montechiaro with at least two really nice restaurants. Stunning sea views across to Mount Vesuvius and Sorrento.
