The view from the house and overall the amenities of the house were good. The host quickly responded and was good enough to meet us late at night to get in. I would say that it was difficult to find the driveway or parking for this place. The owner needs a good map on the site so people are not searching. And if it is late at night, it's even more stressful. Checkout was not all that smooth. As there were no instructions on where to put all the separated trash. the owner wanted us to bag everything and take it to a central point in town. Which I think is pretty unreasonable considering the whole house is clean, your paying a cleaning fee, there are no instructions on where the trash point was etc. When you have a whole family packed and ready to go, the last thing you want to do is look all over an unknown place for some trash point. After consideration, the owner took the trash in his three-wheeled vehicle.

Tignale is in a beautiful location in the mountains up from the shore of Lake Garda. The views were amazing and it’s our favorite place we’ve stayed so far on Garda.
The town itself is very small and quiet which suited us perfectly but it could be a little sedate for some young people.
The other thing to note is that the town is easy to walk around but most of the surrounding roads are incredibly steep so could be a challenge for anyone with walking difficulties. Also, the drive up from the shore road wasn’t the easiest drive but well worth it.
We can’t wait to go back!

Breathtaking views and great people!
Breathtaking views and great people! Sadly, this place is very badly connected and hard to reach, making it impossible to go around without a car! Such a pity considering what a suggestive place it is.
The main activities would be hikes and trails in the mountains around. By downloading the "Tignale App" is easy to find different activities in the area and advices for the stay (where to go, eat and more).

In hindsight (great thing that) we should maybe have stayed three or four days at Hotel Zanzanu then moved to another location around the lake. In all we travelled close 500 miles in total, a large amount getting around the lake to various places of interest.
We used this property for two nights due to the bad weather (we were on bikes). This apartment had the most incredible views - we sat on the terrace all day watching the weather come in. The service was fantastic. The breakfast delivered to the room delicious. There was a garage for the bikes. We didn’t get to use the pool sadly but would happily use this hotel again. Short walk to the town for drinks and food.
Very good breakfast. Nice and helpful staff.
Spacious parking place. Spectacular view from terrase/balkony, outside/inside water pools.
Try restaurant Pizzeria ApolloXI in the centre belonging also to GTS group, there is delicious food and perfect service as in Panorama La Forca. This hotel is also good place for MTB and road cyclists and their families.
A little off the beaten path but it provides an extraordinary view over the lake. Loved eating breakfast out on the terrace to see the lake and take in the sights. Clean and comfortable room, appreciated the dog friendly nature. Close to restaurants with a coupon for the one directly across the street! Hotel bar provides drinks late as well.
The views from the property are absolutely stunning. The hotel itself has everything you need in terms of a restaurant, bar, and lovely pool with sun loungers. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it’s clearly a family hotel. Two minutes walk from the hotel is a lovely pizzeria and restaurant with very affordable and tasty food.
The view!
Pay extra for the room with the balcony to the lake Garda.
Hotel rooms does't have anything special, it's just standart, not very big, but comfortable room, that you will forget very fast. Nothing irritates. But the view! It will leave a mark.
The personel is nice and friendly.
I liked very much the breakfast. Sufficient selection of food, you couldn´t pick up the food on your own but it was done according to your instruction by the hotel staff - in a nice way, I appreciated the way how it was arranged. The view of Lago di Garda from the hotel terrace was amazing.
The hotel is located in the "central" square of the village. The staff is very friendly and competent. We really felt welcome and every interaction we had with the staff was quite nice. The parking is close to the property.
We liked everything! The terrace view was mindblowing, the aparment was spacious and clean and the whole area around the hotel is wondefull!
The apartment was well equipped and the staff was friendly and nice.
The staff was amazing and very helpful.
The room was very good, and the pool is great!
Also, the hotel gives discount for a great restaurant near by. The breakfast is excellent!
Loved the hotel.
The staff was super friendly. The location is fantastic, in the middle of small, cute town of Gardola. Discounts for local retaurants were also a great bonus.
