What is not to like about this property? Everything from the check in to the location to the really beautiful apartment was perfect!! If you want to have all the comforts of home and then some, this is the place to stay! 10 out of 10!!! Loved it, just wish we could have stayed longer!!

Michaela who worked there went over and above to help get us to the hotel. Apple Maps brought us 10k in the wrong direction and Michaela arranged for her friend to meet us and show us the route back to the hotel. It would have been a terrible night had she not done that, we are so very indebted to her
We were four friends traveling together. We have been friends since we were 8 years old, and we were celebrating our 50th birthday. Everything exceeded our expectations - inside, outside and the host. It was jus the perfect balance for us. We recommend it or anybody looking for a retreat in the country side, but still close to a municipality and several historic sites and hot thermal pools - it is surely a house in the woods. We just absolutely loved it, and Simona was so friendly and gave us amazing suggestions on activity in a short drive away. The atmosphere was so friendly that we would rather stay in and cook dinner than go out - just so friendly, cozy, and welcoming :)

The town is small, but it has a very personal atmosphere. The people are all friendly, they are not yet facing a mass influx of tourists and it shows in their great willingness to help, to treat. The surroundings are extremely charming, but it's good to have a car; public transport works well, but it's still not that frequent, which is understandable given the location and size. Soriano is a small place, but there are plenty of sights to see, and it's possible to enjoy its atmosphere, which larger places don't allow as well.

The facilities were excellent, but the property was difficult access due to steep narrow streets. We called and the management arranged for us and our luggage to be picked up in the parking lot and brought to the resort. At checkout they returned us to our car.

I used Soriano Nel Cimino as a staging point for day trips around Tuscia. Easy access to Viterbo, Caprarolla, Vallerano, Fabrica di Roma, Lake Bracciano, Civita di Bagnoregio, etc. The town itself has quite a number of attractions such as the Palazzo Chigi, the Orsini Castle, Papaqua fountain, and a lovely centro storico. The food around town is great. My favorite cafe was Cocoa Caffe on the main square.

Delightful little village - very authentic, and good...
Delightful little village - very authentic, and good facilities (cafes and supermarkets) and friendly people.
Be sure to visit the fantastic collection of working vintage gramophones and music box machines in the castle - it was an absolute delight to have the owner of the collection give us a private guided tour complete with music show.

The location and hotel far exceeded our expectations and the parking was ideal. Our room was lovely with an amazing view of the town and surroundings from the terrace. But most outstanding were the people and in particular the restaurant manager who was exceptional and really made our stay very special. We had our little dog with us and he treated her so well, we all felt very spoilt and would thoroughly recommend the hotel, the restaurant, the food and the area...all absolutely wonderful!
Maria Luisa and her staff were very attentive! The home is a historical site and very beautiful. The added bonus was the pool in August in Italy, as the norm is no a/c. We were able to have a wonderful breakfast, set off to see sights in Bomarzo, Spoleto, Amelia, Aquasparta and Civita Bagnoregio. We then returned for a late afternoon in the pool and gardens. Evenings were off to dinner at local places at Maria Luisa's recommendation.
This place is really exceptional - and this is coming from a hotel freak:) It is called "palazzo" and it really is a palazzo - super spacious, with painted walls and ceilings, lots of art, luxurious bathrooms, complimentary wine bottles (notice the plural!:)) and other beverages and some food. Also, super comfortable beds, pillows, towers - everything high end. Memorable stay.
The hotel is really comfortable, and has a beautiful view. I had though a problem with Booking, as I was traveling with my husband and son, and when reserved, I booked a room with 3 beds, and arriving there there was only a double-bed. Other than that, the accommodation was great! having a small kitchen in the room helps a lot when traveling with a child.

-Infrastructure: Its a stunning palazzo turned to hotel. Our 1 bedroom apartment was super cozy and fully equipped.
-Relaxation: Perfect place to relax, we read a lot on the upper gardens with the stunning views
Great location in soriano nel cimino, walking distance to the square. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. The staff we very nice, especially to our baby daughter!
The pool area was lovely and a great place to relax.
We had an excellent view of the town and castle. The rooms were big and had a kitchenette. We could have easily stay for a week there. The bed was very comfortable for a European hotel.
