I must say that our expectations were very high after reading all the reviews, maybe too high. The place is beautiful , service is very good and very friendly but not perse so much better as a lot of other places we found in Italy. And that was actually what we expected after the reviews. Probably that was more our problem than something what you can blame the hotel.

Breakfast was delicious and varied everyday. It was beautifully presented with an exciting element of surprise...don't want to spoil it for others! Really very lovely. The location cannot be beat with huge views overlooking typical Piedmont vineyards and hilltop villages. Daniel and Erika were extremely friendly and helpful, booking restaurants and wine tours for us. We would definitely come back again.
Denise and her staff were AMAZING! They left no stone unturned and the property is stunning. The 5 star dinner was the best meal we had in our two week trip and the breakfast is to die for. This is probably too nicest hotel we have ever stayed at over our 20 plus years of traveling. We were treated like royalty!
