The breakfast was just perfect with lots of suggestions. The room, wc is comfortable and clean. I love the location just at the edge of historic centre, it is quite and easy to get to all places of interest and good rests. The train station is close by.

Great location in the heart of the town and really great free parking within the premises. The card system to open the gate and front door was also useful.

Very friendly and nice owners, helpful with orientation in Piedmont, absolutely fantastic breakfast, apart from the weather I couldn't find a single negative

Very charming hotel in an old house. Comfortable beds. Beautiful done with amazing garden and courtyard to sit and rest. Restaurant is excellent! Very nice young staff
Alba is a very cute and cosy place. People are very kind and the nature is beautiful. But it is also very small, so I think 4 days was just enough to see everything, but of course it depends on what you are looking for, of course you if you want just to chill for many days you can stay more. Also if you have plans for hiking or biking, I cant say about that since we didnt do that.
All in one: we had just good experience with food, everywhere we had good food. You need definitely a car to be able to visit small villages around and drive the valleys down and up :)
The city center is nice to visit, but there are not much interesting shops than you already know, more interesting is the weekend market, where people offer regional food (Meat, trufels, sweats, etc.)
3 days of our stay was rainy and foggy, which was not much activities we could do during the day, since the beautiful views of the valleys were hidden by the clouds (it was also nice experience to see other face of Alba) but definetley the sunny day was much more beautiful.

Alba is at the heart of the Langhe.
Alba is at the heart of the Langhe. Make sure to visit the surrounding towns - Neive, Serralunga d'Alba, La Morra, Asti, etc - all just 30 mins away in either direction. If you like good food and great wines, the Langhe is a must-visit!

We explored mainly the central part of Alba which was very quaint and charming. The porticos were a pleasant surprise and the cleanliness of the town. The people were friendly and those that live there tell us they wouldn't leave. Alba seemed to have everything: shops, great food, architecture, cobbled stones, but wasn't overrun with tourists when we were there in early October.

This is wine country.
This is wine country. We visited during the off season so it was also hot and many of the cellars were closed but we still managed to fill all our days. There are so many little towns - we loved our location to Alba for the food, shopping, and just walking around. The town of Alba is lovely.

Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

Lorena went out of his way to give us suggestions of all sorts. She made dinner reservations and also calls for wine tasting. The breakfast was wonderful, the place immaculate with comfortable beds and wonderful sheets.
Right near the main street, 4 km to arrive in Alba, easy in and out of town. It could not have been better. She is also a lovely person and it was nice to spend time with her.
Facility was really nice and clean. Pool was warmed and cleaned daily. Staff was really friendly and made us feel home from the first step we got there. I recommend to visit also their winery and book a tasting cause they have very good Wines and knowledge. For our next trip to Alba region, would definitely book this facility.
The apartment was perfect for our stay in Alba - Clean, tidy and comfortable. Luigi was the perfect host, great with communication and also provided some great tips for Alba. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit this wonderful town.
