The room was large, even by European standards. We had room to move and not bump into walls and furniture. There is a restaurant next door that has a truly traditional Italian dinner which was delicious and fascinating to see and eat. The hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. We do not speak Italian but we did not feel remotely misunderstood or unable to communicate; they were charming and very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. I wish that we had been able to try the omelette that was offered but we filled up on the pastry, fruit, salami, cheese, and yogurt so were too stuffed for more. And as a person with food allergies I loved being able to eat all that was offered. A truly exceptional stay and would choose again in a heartbeat.

The owner/ staff very nice, caring, and considerate. The owner speaks Italian, I used the translate app on my phone to communicate with the owner; she is very responsive and nice. They do have English speaking staff as well. Overall, good place, excellent, and kind people.

Incredible! The view form the pool and the building is unmatched. The staff were the most helpful. The walk and drive to the city centre and the natural hot springs is not too long and accessible. Very good instructions on how to get to the property. Very much of a country stay and had incredible local breakfast (best breakfast of our lives).

Saturnia has been a lovely place to spend a couple of days.
Saturnia has been a lovely place to spend a couple of days. We visited both the official Terme di Saturnia, but also the wilder Cascate del Mulino and enjoyed both (in different ways obviously).
For the Cascate I would suggest going early in the morning on a weekday, so that they are not too crowded. While the official Terme are nice to be enjoyed at any time really, and the ticket to get in is not expensive at all on my opinion.

A relaxing break from the tourist spots around Italy.
A relaxing break from the tourist spots around Italy. Since you have to rent a car to get there we did not encounter many other Americans.
The hot springs is as beautiful and relaxing as the pictures and videos you see on social media.
There’s a quant town (Saturnia) down the road with a handful of restaurants and a beautiful square locals hang out in with the kids.
Also close by is a hot springs resort that you get a discount day pass to with something like 20+ pools and full spa that we spent the day at.
I can’t recommend this place enough.
As a professional photographer it hurts me a little they don’t have pictures that do it justice.

We didn't spend any time in the town of Saturnia because it is small and not much to do after we spent a couple weeks in Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, and other Tuscan cities. We mostly just relaxed at our Saturnia Tuscany Hotel, the Terme di Saturnia Spa & Resort, and the Saturnia hot springs. It might be the most beautiful place in Tuscany and possibly all of Italy. Visit the hills of Saturnia if you want to relax and enjoy the beauty of what Tuscany is. We spent 3 days and it was completely rejuvenating after a couple weeks of being on-the-go. We also drove which takes the fun and exciting adventure to a whole new level if you are use to driving in the United States.
Wonderful cozy hotel in a beautiful and calm location.
Rooms are big and comfortable.
Breakfast is excellent. Huge selection of delicious and homemade food with fresh vegetables, fruits and cheese.
Termas de Saturnian is very close.
It was very pleasant to walk in a large and green area.
We liked everything and grateful to the owners for the warm hospitality.
The location is amazing, really close to both the Terme di Saturnia and the Cascate del Mulinello.
The communication with the host has been perfect since the beginning and she has been super helpful and friendly even when we got to meet her.
The also make their own wine there, which you can buy with a little discount!
Mauro and his family were there for helping us with everything, parking at the terme, recommend the best restaurants, telling us about the best places to visit around Saturnia. Everything was excellent 👌. My partner and I felt lovely and welcoming in this place. Definitely we are highly recommended.
