Wonderfully peaceful setting. Our garden room with sea view was lovely. Great pool and bar area where breakfast was served overlooking the sea. Light lunches were very good too.
The private beach with towels and sun beds was a treat!
Hotel is walking distance to bars & restaurants.
Highly recommended!

Great place to stay of you want to peacefully explore the city and its surroundings. Alfonsina and Anna-Rossa were more than accommodating. The place has a big inside garden that is perfect for children to play. The room service is impeccable as well! They also organized a taxi home for us!

Immaculately clean, the staff seemed new but tried hard.

A resort but also a real Italian town all the more noticeable in early October with smaller number of visitors. The old village of Castellabate with amazing labyrinth of alleyways and views is a must visit. We recommend the 3 hour walk around the coast to Ogliastro and bus return…superb views and swim in deserted rocky cove at lunchtime.

Typical Cilento town with clear waters, small marina, historic buildings, church, good restaurants, long walking "lungomare", restaurants on the beach. The Borgo of Castellabate on the hill is spectacular, is considered one of the most beautiful "borgo"s of Italy and offers fantastic views over the coast and the interior. Very friendly and welcoming people.

Castellabate is a quaint small town.
Castellabate is a quaint small town. Seems very quiet but so beautiful. I would have preferred to stay a couple more days to really be able to get a better feel for southern Italy.
The Hotel was actually remarkable for the price. We were upgraded because it was not peak season in late October.

Good fish restaurants along the sea front.
Good fish restaurants along the sea front. We particularly liked La Scogliera in the quieter area furthest away from the main beach. Also Ristorante I due Fratelli which was more upmarket but a very short walk from Residence Serrone.
A good base to explore the coast and the mountains.

Breakfast was good for people who loves sweets and pastries ( Italian style) . They offered us “American breakfast” ( eggs, beicon etc ) however was only available after 9am. Food and service was very good.
Important to know that this hotel does not have private beach “ lido” . They do recommend a private beach very near by and they offered a shuttle to the beach complimentary, however you have pay €25 extra for one umbrella and 2 beach chairs. The service and food at the Lido was very nice.
We stayed in a lovely apartment on the beach with a large outdoor seating area. The property has beach access, drink water/sparkling water refill, washing machine, outdoor shower near the beach, free parking. The apartment is clean and free of odor. Our needs were met in the little kitchenette. We walked to town via the beach and enjoyed the cute town of Santa Maria which has many restaurants and bar cafes and markets.
Great hotel in Santa Maria deCastellabate. We arrived in the middle of a rainstorm - the front desk staff were very helpful and had already upgraded us to a deluxe room on the top floor with a view of the ocean and the town! The hotel was not very full in October obviously.
The room and balcony were beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The beach was lovely and restaurant food was great!
The host Alberto was extremely kind and available for all our needs during the stay. He went out of his way to make sure we knew we could contact him about anything and he was both attentive and good company.
The view from the villa was lovely and the location near the beach and walking distance from the town suited us very well.
We appreciated the free parking space at the villa.
The location was excellent near the town and a short walk to the beaches. A nice balcony with enough room for a table and 4 chairs plus a useful drying rack. Sunshine in the morning but shaded later in the day. Very nice hosts with two friendly beagles. Newly decorated. Easy parking onsite was particularly useful. Good size shower with both waterfall & direct heads.
Good hot water.
Luna Calante is a brand new modern property with only few rooms, a small little garden where you have breakfast in the morning and a very quiet area where I slept wonderfully. It’s a 10 mins walk from the Main Street with a lot of restaurants and local shops. Not far from the best S.Maria beaches either.
Beautiful accommodation, great location near the beach and such wonderful hosts. Truly welcoming and very kind. The breakfast is wonderful, fresh, local produce and lots of homemade items. The ladies that own the accommodation are so lovely and couldn’t do enough for me. Would recommend very highly
The villa was great, we got a free upgrade to a room with balcony, which we enjoyed a lot, the sea is only a few meters from the window and the street is full of life, which makes this the perfect spot for vacation. 1 min to beach and nice restaurants. Totally recommend for a romantic getaway.
Riccardo is very nice and helpful, the perfect host. The apartment is adjacent to the main central street, 5min away from the city's parc and beaches. It has the necessary for a short stay. There's alsothe option to park your car near the apartment for a good price.
Great location in the main street and really close to beach and restaurants. Extremely helpful and friendly staff- we had diffculty using washer machine and garage door and both times they came quickly to help us. Room had besutiful private balcony
The hosts were so lovely. The house has been in the family and they’ll tell you all about it. plus there are cute ducks on sight, great group hangout areas in the gardens and close to everything, the beach, food and grocery. Everything was perfect!
It's located at the beach so ideal if you are planning a few days at the beach. The rooms are clean. The people are friendly and did change our rooms after we realized we didn't have natural light in the room for the type we booked.
Location. Totally It the center of everything what is going on in the town. lAlmost directly on the beach. Nice and helpfull host. Rooms cleaned every day bu the room service.
