Absolutely amazing room with a pleasant local design and atmosphere. Vietri is an ideal staging point for a visit to the Amalfi Coast. Small but big enough to have all the amenities. Good choices of restaurants and cafes. Easy access from transport by train from Naples (nearest airport) or further afield. We travelled from Rome by train into next door Salerno. Great ferry services along the coast are great to use for a lunch or even early dinner and visit to any one of several lovely villages along the coast. Remember all these villages are built on the side of a cliff. Hills and steps are going to be a constant experience! If you like the hills and steps there are great walks in the area which will reward with views like nothing seen before.

Great base away from the madness of the rest of the coast. Train, bus, ferry to everywhere and you come home to a place thats more like a village than a tourist nightmare. Elevator to your beach. Staff are great. Room was good. We were in an upper room away from the functions and disco which was good. ( we went to the disco and had fun and fitted in as 60 yr olds). Loved the place and didn't have to contend with the rest of the mad over crowding of the rest of the coast. And tyhe parking guys are really cool.

Fantastic location in the Amalfi coast, I recommend it to all travelers in Italy. Food is amazing, people are welcoming, the city center is very picturesque and we enjoyed the beaches with the family and kids.

Vietri is a very popular seaside town and gets very busy. There are mainly ceramics and some clothing shops. Restaurants are plentiful and very reasonable with the fresh fish dishes excellent. There is also a restaurant which provides Pizza takeaway.
Parking is very difficult as is common on the Amalfi coast. If you take a car try and pre-arrange private parking in advance.
The beach is ok but quite a long downhill walk so the return journey is tedious. We chose to drive to Maori which is much more accessible and a better beach.

This is a wonderful and amazing little getaway nestled into the cliffs that overlook the Mediterranean and the beach below. HIlaria, the hostess is wonderful and helped us arrange tours, recommended restaurants and provided us with a driver for trips around town.
The rooms are large and airy and the bed is SO comfy. There is a full kitchen should you feel the need to cook.
The breakfast buffet is huge with many different options and choices, but the breads and local cheeses and meats were exceptional.
The stairs are steep but there are not nearly as many of them as at other places and the restaurant, Acqua Marina, right at the bottom of the stairs is one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever eaten in (and I'm a Chef).
We've only been home a month and we're already talking about going back next year.

The hotel stay was mediocre. I highly recommend renting a car. The hotel does not have a shuttle service. We had to take a bus to the hotel once we figured out the system as well as asking locals. That was the worst part. Once we got to the hotel we realized due to its location and proximity in relation to things to do, we were going to have a hard time getting around. Taxis got to be expensive taking them back and forth. The hotel staff was nice for the most part with the exception of one member. She seemed upset there was a language barrier. Overall, the hotel was ok for the cost. I wouldn't stay again, however.
Very well located in the small town of Vietri Sul Mare. Very comfortable beds and good shower. The balcony was gorgeous and provided us the best place to sit in the evenings.
Fabio and the kind lady who served us breakfast each morning were absolutely lovely, we felt very welcome. They kept the kitchen fully stocked with cold water, fruits and other items. The provided breakfast was absolutely wonderful as well as the coffee.
Honestly could not recommend Bellavista enough. For exploring the Amalfi coast, it is certainly a great base.
Me and my fiance stayed 10 nights. The apartment exceeded our expectations because it actually looks better than the pictures show. It is very clean and it has everything you need for a longer stay. It's 3 minutes away in a straight line from the town elevator that leads to the train station. The place is very close to grocery stores, ceramic shops, many restaurants, key landmarks and alleyways, but it's in a small ally so it's quiet. We would definitely book again if we return to Vietri.

This hotel was perfect. We absolutely loved it. Beautiful room, beautiful view from balcony, beautiful garden, beautiful everywhere really. It was the most satisfied I have been with hotel, taking into account value for money, in a very long time. Tremendous place to stay in beautiful Vietrii.
Decent base for Amalfi as well as port is nearby and regular boats take 20 mins or so and are a pleasant way to travel.

Excellent! Valentina and her lovely parents were simply wonderful hosts- so kind and helpful! The location was good for us- near the train station, with a balcony and lovely view. The bed was comfortable, apartment is decorated beautifully. Breakfast was at a nearby cafe- very nice. We were only here one night but wished we were here longer. Vietri was a lovely town. Would love to return and would definitely stay here again!
Loved the location. Very good access to the main center of Vietri and the train station. Italy was in a heat wave but thankfully the air conditioner worked well. Other than a couple of small issues, generally the residence was very clean and well stocked with necessary supplies. It was as advertised. We were pleased and would gladly recommend the property. We wish we could give it more than 10 stars. The apartment is beautiful and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. The view is amazing. The staff are the nicest and most hospitable people we have met in all of our extensive travels. The location is perfect for exploring Vietri and the nearby hamlets. We highly recommend Panoramic Flat.
Overall, the hotel was very nice, the staff were excellent and the views were amazing. Vietri as a town was relatively quiet, which suited us down to the ground, and it provided us with a great base from which to explore the Amalfi coast (whether by car, ferry or boat). We had a marvellous time!
It cliffside location was amazing but if didn’t have a car then you had to walk along the Amalfi highway to get to the hotel. I especially liked the hard working parking attendant who was able to understand and answer my questions and help me out with other issues as compared to reception staff.
A lovely, very convenient apartment in downtown Vietri Sul Mar -a quick elevator ride and walk from the train. the master is lovely and large. modern amenities. And the hosts were wonderful -even meeting us at the train station and bringing us a bottle opener. truly kind and responsive folk.
Vietri is a hiden jam in the Amalfi coast, we really enjoyed this town, better than Amalfi or Positano. The hotel is very close to the beach, a litlle bit far from the historical center, but still a walking distance. Vietri beach is a sandy beach, unlike others from Amalfi Coast.
Casa maggio was a nice place and large enough for 2 couples (2 bedrooms, 2 baths). Its location is close to the ferry landing in Vietri, and there are nice restaurants around it. It is a walk to the historic center, so either buy a bus pass or put on your hiking shoes.
Clean modern and new space close to beach and shops. Alberto from Kaktus Cafe really helped us a lot and even helped booked taxi! Loved Vietri Sul Mare and close to pier to access all of amalfi coast. Communication was excellent as well as having an awesome space!
Everything was brilliant. The room is very cozy and well-designed. The apartment is about 15 minutes walk from the downsides of Vietri Sul Mare city. Daniela - host - is the best host I have ever met! Strongly recommend!
Franco & Carmen were fabulous hosts, breakfast was the best. Location allowed us to explore the Amalfi coast line by ferry & bus. Vietri Sul Mare a lovely town to explore as well.
