View was amazing but amenities were non existent. Cheaply decorated, handles missing from dresser, plastic soap holder in shower that kept falling to the floor, shower did not drain well, mosquito curtain in bedroom ripped, only 2 burners worked on the stove in at least 2 of the rooms. No staff on premises. This is a 5 star location but needs some attention to detail.

Fantastic view over the lake to watch the sun set. We had the use of the entire upper floor and only saw the host when we were greeted. We were provided with a lot of useful information prior to our stay. The shaded parking was great. There were quite a lot of cats. This is quite a unique property.

We met the lovely host Silvia when we arrived to collect the keys and her co host Luca when we left to pick up the keys. They were very accommodating and gave us lots of guidance and tips about the local area. The Villa was located in a very quiet and peaceful area with a beautiful serene view of the lake which was just stunning at sunset. If you wanted to nip to the shops or restaurants they were only a short drive down the hill into the small town of San Feliciano. There were also plenty of larger supermarkets in surrounding towns that were easier enough to stop at en-route back from our days out, as a family of two older parents and two older teenagers, we preferred to have our evenings as a family at the villa enjoying a glass of the local wine and dining together overlooking the beautiful view. There was a few restaurants in the main town that we visited for coffee and lunch stops, so this would also be an option to drive to in the evening to sample the local cuisine.
Hotel Lidò provides an outdoor pool with hot tub set right on the shores of Lake Trasimeno. Both the hotel and restaurant offer great views over the lake.
Just 300 metres from the shores of Lake Trasimeno, Hotel Le Tre Isole offers rooms and apartments surrounded by olive groves. It features free swimming pools and a private beach.

San Feliciano is very small as a town but served as a good base to travel out and about from. Other towns further along may cater better for tourists looking for a nightlife beyond just local restaurants. We stayed in a villa that was on the outskirts, so catered for ourselves picking up produce from the local markets and supermarkets. In the main town there were a few restaurants and cafes along the lakes edge and it was a very sleepy tranquil place at the time of year we visited end of August early September. It was great if you want to escape the touristy busyness and absorb the natural beauty of the place. It was very peaceful and calm just what we needed before getting back to busy lives.

A gorgeous little lakeside town with excellent access to the lake and the island. A great range of restaurants for the size of the town (6 or 7). A fabulous, casual waterfront kiosk(Il Chiosco) with old cheap coffee and drinks, well supported by the locals as well as tourists. A tremendous, new, soft-fall play area for kids is next to the kiosk and well patronised.
Beautiful location up the hill overlooking Lago Trasimeno. There is a good size swimming pool. The apartments are spacious and well equipped. The bedroom had a balcony with a panoramic lake view. There is plenty of parking available at the property. The local town can be easily reached on foot and has all basic services. The staff is truly wonderful, with Luca offering excellent service, providing recommendations on restaurants as well as activities and sightseeing in the area.
An exceptional place to stay if you're looking for a place to reset. Beautiful house with breathtaking lake views, friendly and helpful hosts, delicious breakfast (we especially enjoyed homemade cakes and strong Italian coffee), big, clean swimming pool, comfortable room (sparkling clean!) - all of the above made Casale sul Lago Trasimeno the best place we've ever stayed at :)
A beautiful accommodation on the hills with an incredible view of Lake Trasimeno. Here you can enjoy great sunsets in a pleasant atmosphere. The apartment was very clean and has everything you need. The owners are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We spent 5 days with hiking, biking and relaxing - awesome location, beautiful accommodation. We enjoyed every second.
positioned in front of the Trasimeno lake and with one of the best restaurants of the village the hotel has parking space avaibable nearby. Rooms are clean and disinfected properly due to covid regulations, the bed was very cosy and excellent value for money. Would definitively return for a second visit

We were cycling round Lago Trasimeno so the location was perfect, with a great view over the lake in the evening. Very good breakfast to set us up for the gira.
