I liked everything about the campsite.
I liked everything about the campsite. It was well maintained, in a lovely position with good views over hte lake. The team at the campsite are helpful and friendly and it has a good kids club. The restaurant on site is good, but you can also walk into 2 local villages for other places to eat. I would say you need some transportation to get around, car, or even a bike, as we relied on public transport, and buses are quite infrequent locally.

Very calm and beautiful village, close to Salò and Garda Lake. If you want to eat well and at good price go to the Ristorante Pizzeria CTS, at the village entrance. It has excellent food, very large menu and very good service.

Small, lovely village. Having breakfast there was brilliant as you could see the whole village meet and greet. We found a very nice place to stay 10 min from centre or spaggia gardiola. Especially July and August it is a good place to avoid the crowds.

It is an absolutely beautiful area of Italy to visit.
It is an absolutely beautiful area of Italy to visit. The scenery is stunning, the lake great to swim in, lovely bars and restaurants to visit. Enjoyed the nearby harbours and beaches at Portese and Salo. So easy to reach here by hire car from Venice Airport (less than 2hrs) and so many great places within driving distance to visit:Venice, Verona, Limone, Malescine, Sirmione etc.

Unfortunately we didn’t do much research before coming here. We stayed locally for 3 nights and two days and found ourselves rather bored. There is nothing to do in the area and what trips are available are extremely limited to particular days (typically not coinciding with our trip).

This town is near the less dramatic southern end of Lake Garda but has the advantage of being more relaxed with more space, fewer tourists and a pleasant small beach with a restaurant. More beaches are within walking distance. The nearest lake ferry port in the next town is just about walkable though a car would be an advantage .

We were upgraded from a safari tent to lake view caravan free of charge! (I think because of the torrential rain forecast for the few days we were there they felt sorry for us). This was a lovely gesture and the lake view caravan was beautiful, clean and spacious! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The facilities and pool also looked brill - just couldn't use the pool sadly due to the weather. Would 100% recommend staying here.
The hotel has an excellent location, not far from several beaches. it is very well equipped, a beautiful garden with a large pool, wellness (we missed it). the rooms are modernly furnished. we had a family room with two extra beds and everything was fine. excellent cuisine - plentiful breakfasts and very good Italian-style multi-course dinners. staff was very friendly and helpful. we used parking in the underground garage for a fee.
It was very clean and the staff was extremely nice, specially Mimo the waiter at the breakfast.
He was welcoming us every day, super nice and friendly, already kneeling what we like and at the last day, since we left beforehand breakfast time he made sure a box with breakfast will wait for us at the reception.
Mimo was definitely a big part of our good experience at the hotel.

Sara as the hostess was absolutely lovely, she was super helpful and answered all our questions via whatsapp. The location is superb, the best beach of lake Garda is 5 minutes walk away, and going to the hotel and all over lake Garda is super easy via Portese ferry station. The room "Lullaby" was absolutely fantastic, and the breakfast was the best we had in Italy.
The location is perfect, on the west side of the lake. San Felice del Benaco is a wonderful town, with good restaurants and a great café bar very close to the apartment. The beach and tiny island are very accessible from this apartment. We loved the apartment’s terrace the most, we were mesmerized by the views and watching the swifts and swallows fly by.
Great view of lake Garda from the balcony of the room which was nice to start and end the day. The unit was spacious, the bathroom was roomy, the unit was clean. Would recommend! Cannot comment about the bistro because it was closed.
The walking path that takes you to Salò is just a short ways away, and the walk to Salo is so nice!
Great hotel and location. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the dinner but breakfast is very good. We stayed in superior rooms with amazing views of the lake and the mountains. Rooms was good but mattresses should be upgraded to something more comfortable. Otherwise everything was very good.
