I telephoned the day before, as the booking was for a couple of friends I was told that the hotel had cancelled the stay, even though I had paid. They said I could go to a hotel in the centre of town, Hotel Centrale, and they would pay.
I went to the Hotel Centrale and was asked to wait as they did not think they had space. Eventually they said my friends could stay.
When my friends arrived, we went there, again we had to wait half an hour, they wanted 2 pieces of indentity and grumbled about my friends staying. I asked how much the Hotel Fellicione were paying them which they refused to answer.
With all the delays and rudeness we decided not to stay there and my friends went back to their home, in Italy.

Pineto is a lovely Italian town .
The beach is wonderful, backed by pine trees.
There is a high speed rail line between the town and beach,
so to access the beach it is necessary to find the tunnels which
go under the rail line.
Restaurants were good , a real mix of casual up to Michelin recommended
We hired a car at the airport so could visit many attractions of the area including the trabbochi and Sulmona, the home of sugared almonds or confetti as the Italians call it

Small town feel with convenience of restaurants around the area ,Gelateria, markets during the weekends ,can stroll during the night safely.And of course the beach is really beautiful and doesn’t have crowds with a lot of tourists.

The location is good, very close to the beaches (you can get an umbrella and 2 chairs for 10€/day at the Capana beach https://mapy.cz/s/hukodagocu) or even closer there is the free public beach. The railroad is very close and the trains cause loud noise, but it is only very short and not too busy - in a few days one can get used to it.
The pine grove is perfect - very pleasant to rest in during a hot day.
The main street Viale Gabriele d'Annunzio becomes a pedestrian zone after 21:00 for a pleasant walk with ice cream.
The Schiuma restaurant provided delicious pinsa (pizza) and the Vecchio Frantoio offered perfect sea food, all in a local non-touristic style.

Nice town near the sea with exellent beach. Calm and quiet place to relax by the sea. Good for cycling and walking along the sea. Lots of shops and restaurants. We especially liked the restaurant for those who love fish Lido Gabbiano and the best arrosticini in the restaurant Lu Stracapanz.

Staff helpful, car parking spaces available, breakfast was good, swimming pool area was nice, gardens lit up on night times, and private beach with 1x sun lounger and 1x chair positioned under an umbrella for each room at the hotel free of charge which you are allocated for the length of your stay.
We loved that the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. The breakfast was fabulous and the swimming pool area wonderful.
We enjoyed being slightly further from the centre as the beaches were quieter.
We'd be back at Pineto Resort in a heartbeat if we could!
