Host greeted us at the door and spent a lot of time making sure we had everything we needed and how to get to the sites we wanted to see. Host left us lots of nice breakfast foods to make breakfast and have snacks. The property was secluded and quiet with a pool.

Room was clean, but difficult to access the area if you have a car its a better option
On second thought, we must add more to our review.
On second thought, we must add more to our review. We asked before booking about the time to get to the airport(for a very early flight), and the reply was "It only takes 15 minutes and we'll show you when you get here." It seemed okay, so we booked. But, in fact, it was 40 minutes, in just regular traffic. And, the cost was by taxi for 37 euros. We had to run through the airport and arrived at the gate with only 10 minutes to spare!! Very stressful and unfair to us.
When it said breakfast provided, we had to prepare it for ourselves. Also, the night before, we were told that the little town had several options for purchasing dinner but the options were closed. The place to buy ticket for the bus was closed, so we walked back the 1 km., maybe more, to get back. The hosts didn't seem to think about this.
The kindness nature of the hosts made us accept the situation with good humor and we tried to be positive. However, in hindsight, we were disappointed. Although thee accommodations itself and the hosts welcome was fine, we regret to say we cannot recommend booking here.

Well, IF like me you want be surprised with what you spect discover at almost 3.000 years place, OSTIA ANTICA really will amazing you! Even after visit similar places like Pompey , I’m amazing with Ostia Antica! If you have chance , take 2 or more days to stay in Ostia! And back tho the future with the PAST impregnated in your eyes, sense and heart ❤️

I was visiting to watch the Italy V Wales Six Nations game in Rome. I honestly could not believe what an archaeological historic area Ostia Antica is. So glad i found the time to visit the Roman ruins.

The owners were a lovely Italian couple who spoke enough...
The owners were a lovely Italian couple who spoke enough english for us all to understand each other. Their home is in a great location that allowed us to walk to the ruins in Ostia Antica and to a place for dinner. I was near Christmas and the home was decorated nicely.
Their grandson drove us to the airport, for a charge of course, and we arrived in plenty of time for our flight.
We would stay there again, and recommend it to others.

It was a clean and comfortable place, the staff were helpful and friendly.
the transfer to the airport was easy and short.
the onsite resturant was good.
we did not have time to use any of the other facilities.
the included breakfast was a little sparce, just cake, pastry, juce and coffee.
the advertised glutin free options were not very obvious, however we did get 2 small packs of very nice busicuts for breakfast, that the waitress found out the back.
all in all a nice place for a stop over.

The archaeological site is enormous and slightly...
The archaeological site is enormous and slightly overwhelming; 5-6 hours was enough for me, although a second visit would have been good. There are some amazing sites there including mosaic flooring, some of which is unrestored and I was surprised to find it actually underfoot. The cafe in the site served lovely salads and hot dishes, not too pricey.
I didn't explore the town but ate at a good bistro for reasonable cost.
The accommodation is close to the Fiumicino airport so it’s good to stay there when you have an early morning flight.
If you go there from Rome, you can take the Cristoforo Colombo train from Porta San Paolo in Rome, it is the Ostia Antica stop and you can get to the accommodation on foot.
From the accommodation, you can get to the airport in about 15 minutes. You can ask the staff to call you a taxi which is what we did (it was €35) but I think it’d be better if you called an Uber - you could save at least €10..
A very nice and modern appartement in Ostia Antica.
Only 30 minutes by train from the Pyramide railway station in Rome.
Ostia is a very quiet small town outside the very overcrowded Italian capital city - with a couple of outstanding pasta-restaurants.
It is only a 5-19 minutes walk from Victoriae Domus to the wonderful and very interesting old ruins of Roman Ostia, Much more turist-friendly and peaceful than old Pompeii.

Being on a boat is a nice change of pace. Storage for the 2 of us was ample. My husband & I need separate beds; he got our own cabins with a sliding door between and shared a bathroom (with a bidet!). The owners are interesting, active & lovely, and can make you feel like old friends. She speaks English & Italian fluently. The ancient ruins of Ostia Antica, are just on the other side of the waterway. They offer dinner at a very reasonable price, though our schedule didn't allow for it.
The place was very spacious, clean and well equipped. 3 bedrooms + a large living-room and a kitchen with enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids + your personal stuff. Vincenzo was very nice and helpful. Location is quiet and easy to access. If you arriving by car you can park it inside the property. There is a supermarket 5 min away by car, some nice restaurants nearby. 25 minutes from Fiumicino airport, 1 hour from Rome, 15-20 minutes from the nearest beach if no heavy traffic on the way.
Location of the apartment within the old walls of the Borgo made for an exceptionally charming setting. The apartment was within an easy walking distance to the archeological park of Ostia Antica. Nearby shops and restaurants were also convenient. We did find parking a bit difficult, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed out stay. While we did not meet Federica, she quickly responded to all of our email queries and provided us with helpful information about the area.
Nice clean well appointed studio. Very close to Ostia Antica if that is your intended location. Just be aware take public transport here. Traffic and taxis to and from Fiumicino are difficult and expensive. It would have been cheaper for me to stay in central Rome and take the express train to the airport. Studio is in a lovely village but is under the flight path from FCO. Noise dies down sometime at night but until then , you need noise cancelling headphones.
Excellent everything! Such an authentic place and location. Good old Italy with all modern amenities in a harmonious blend. Open the window in the morning or in the afternoon and just look at the surroundings...
Steps from Ostia Antica Scavi and I believe to the train station for trip to Rome. Short drive to the airport.

Ostia Antica B & B is a gem. Check in was quick and done in the small restaurant on the first floor. This is the most spotless place I have stayed in. The room was small but well equipped. The restaurant had mostly pizza and it was delicious. We left before breakfast service so I cannot speak to this. An excellent value and close to gas stations and the Rome airport.
The old farm, the location and the host were amazing!

- The location was close to the train station, really useful if you plan a visit to the Rome city center.
- The host Rebecca was polite, helpful and even left us some welcome drinks.

A stunning place close to the south western parts of Rome (Ostia Antica and the airport)
excellent and kind service. The owner really amazed us with her young spirit and was very helpful with an early welcome and with the help of her beautiful granddaughter they left nothing missing even at breakfast.

The apartment was in a great location - right by Ostia Antica and close to the airport to catch our early-morning flight. It was a very nice apartment and the only regret is that we only spent our last night there!

The location is in a street that is close to the park in Ostia Antica, and from there it is possible to drive to nice areas such as Tivoli and Castelli Romani. The street is quiet and safe.
Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They provided a shuttle service for a very reasonable price. Gave great recommendations and were reasonably close to the ruins at Ostia Antica.
Everything was amazing, so clean, perfect bed, perfect kitchen, even place for rest outside, there is a place for a car nearby. Great owner and his colleague Natalia
