It is a good place to access to Bellagio by ferry directly from Lecco. Also it is near Milan using 25 minutes train. There are some beaches nearby lecco. Also the nights near center and port is always busy with street foods and live concert with DJ which people were dancing on port. I loved the night life which was lively. There is a very nice gellateria with name Toldo which has amazing gelatos I recommend everyone. There is an amazing walking road from lecco towards a beautiful beach which is so beautiful one side mountain and one side lake, the name of walking road is “lungolario piave”. I suggest rent a bike and ride alongside this road.

Paré (where hotel is) is opposite Lecco across Lake Como...
Paré (where hotel is) is opposite Lecco across Lake Como...maybe 2 miles. Lecco had relatively few "tourist attractions", but that was to my liking. This location, Paré/Valmadrere, Malgrate, and Lecco is very relaxing with a constant breeze + lovely view (mountains + lake). I would happily move there, and/or stay for as long as I could afford. If you're into lake activities like boating, fishing, wind-surfing, or mountain activities like hiking, you could probably enjoy it even more. Cell service is only 4G, with long latency, but wifi service was consistently about 300Mbps with reasonable latency (100ms to US streaming providers over VPN). Very relaxing.
One last note: a lot of the local fare was seafood-oriented. That's not to say that you could not get pizza or lasagna...just menus were probably 70% tied to seafood.

Lecco is a very nice place to visit.
Lecco is a very nice place to visit. Good restaurants, nice shops and nice walks around the lake. The boat trips to Bellagio, Menaggio and Ravenna should not be missed. You can go to these places also by short trips by train.

We flew into MXP and wanted a quiet place to recover from...
We flew into MXP and wanted a quiet place to recover from jet lag at the start of our 2-week Italy vacation. Lecco was perfect! it’s an easy 1-hour drive, nestled on the quiet side of lake Como. We walked to the train the next day and went to Varenna then the short ferry to Bellagio and back.
We wished we had bought a return ferry ticket Bellagio back to Lecco in advance as they were sold out in the afternoon. No worries, we retraced our steps ferry back to Varenna and train back to Lecco. It was a wonderful day trip on a beautiful day!

It's a good spot from which to explore Lake Como.
It's a good spot from which to explore Lake Como. It's close to the city and the airports. It has a train station that can take you to the different towns around the lake. From the different towns, there will be ferries to take you to more towns nearby. That way, you don't need to drive and worry about finding parking spots.

This is one of the best B&Bs we've been to. The attention to detail and sympathy of the the hosts is exceptional. The place is comfortable, clean, has all you might need during the trip, and offers a great breakfast of top of everything. We'd definitely stay there again if in Lecco. At first we were a bit unsure about he closeness to a busier street but everything was very quiet in the evening and we had a great night of sleep - plus such comfy pillows!
We had a 4hr delay at the airport and missed our taxi to the hotel. we managed to locate another to get to there. We contacted Alberi and they kindly stayed open for us, this was about 1.00am. We even had some drinks before we went to bed. A very friendly and helpful hotel in the heart of Lecco and kindness in their hearts. A fantastic tribute to everyone working at the hotel. We will be returning soon and hope to meet again.
I recommend this place highly. The host is so welcoming and accommodating and makes the stay really pleasant. The location is great, both in Lecco itself but also as a starting point to discover Lake Como. Train station is 10 min by foot. The room is spacious, very clean. It is a authentic Italian house which adds to the charme of the hotel.
