Gorgeous interior styling with such careful attention to detail which made it feel like we were staying in a real home on Como. The room we stayed in was big and had an amazing view of the lake. The heating was excellent, as was the breakfast provided which included local meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries. We used the jacuzzi on our first night which was the perfect way to relax after a day of travel. Alessandro was an exceptional host as was his staff member Cinzia. I was so sad to leave!

I have a wonderful stay here, the view is stunning and the property was very clean and tidy,
The kitchen was fully functional, with utensils to use, and some condiments.
The balcony was lovely and really added to the experience.

Great location, quiet, but not far from restaurants and town. Loads of room, large kitchen, bedroom with lake and mountain view. Couple car park options 10 min walk from the property. Would definitely come back.

Our hotel, San Marino, was on the main north south route above the old lakeside road. To get a better impression we walked down what appear to be ancient alleys between old properties to reach the lakeside road which is more atmospheric. Good exercise too.

the room is horrible, very uncomfortable beds; besides they gave me a different room than the one I booked, in the cassock literally, we had the room the previous guest's trash, good air conditioning for the summer season .

Laglio is a small Village on the lake side of Como.
Laglio is a small Village on the lake side of Como. At around 15km from Como it is not the easiest place to travel to unless you have a car. There are a few Restaurants in the area and one shop, however if you are looking for somewhere with lots going on then this isnt the place. As we were a larger Group this was not an issue as we spent most of the Weekend in our Villa, as a small Group it could be a little quiet.

Laglio itself is small, but Cernobbio, ten minutes drive south, is much larger and has plenty of facilities. However, Cernobbio accommodation is very expensive, while Laglio is much cheaper. If you have a car, Laglio is better value.

Like a typical arsehole, I assumed everywhere is like London for ease of getting things, so got caught out by there being very few shops and then closing in the middle of the day.
Otherwise it’s an unbelievable place, much more beautiful than even Tuscany
The location: Right on the main road surrounding lake Como. 15-20 min from Como. Private parking is right outside.
The view from both balconies was great. Sit on the balcony and enjoy the lake.
The owner is very helpful. He attended to anything we needed.
The apartment is cosy and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen.
Breakfast options: one a couple of Km up the road, with a many options. One down by the lake, great location and view, but limited options.
- We really enjoyed the location : you can (relatively easily) walk down to the waterfront road where you will find a little beach with a kiosk where locals are hanging out, and a few restaurants and bars which were all very good (Da Luciano and La Locanda del Cantiere in particular)
- Warm welcome from the host, who has given us a tour of the house and the nice recommendations for food around the hotel
- The selection of cheese for breakfast - wow!
My wife and I could not have been happier with our stay. The property was perfect and so picturesque we spent hours outside just viewing the lake and enjoying the outside even though it was late December. The staff was beyond accommodating as they helped us with everything like instructions to the hotel, restaurant recommendations and reservations, breakfast every morning was wonderful, and organizing our taxi back to the train.
The friendliness and helpfulness of staff was outstanding. Breakfast was excellent with fresh local produce. The location is fantastic - quiet and secluded, converted family home with great views over Lake Como albeit a little awkward to find and reach. Bed was extremely comfortable, especially after a long day exploring the region. Room is spacious and bathroom clean and well fitted with accompanying toiletries.
Perfect location, truly outstanding view on the lake. Camillo was a very accommodating host, easy to contact. Parking right in front of the apartment, which is so important in this area. Laglio is not as crowded, but you can easily travel around the lake by car. The apartment has everything you need.
We came to Como by car and they had a private garage for guests. The location was great for drivers. The rooms are beautiful and modern, very clean and comfortable. Spacious bathroom, great view, and the included continental breakfast buffet was very satisfying. Wish we stayed longer.
We stayed at Villa Teodolinda because we were considering it as our wedding venue. The staff was very courteous and upgraded our room. The service was amazing and the breakfast experience was really impressive. The views are amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back!
The breakfast was very good, more than I expected. The waiter was very attentive and pleasant, he is there day and night. Very pleasant staff. The hotel was beautiful inside, with beautiful scenery right on the lake, looking at the mountains. Our room had a perfect view.

Was okay for the price, small room with shared bathroom. The Hotel is near the street but it was a quiet night, Parking spaces directly in front of the hotel
