Guarene is a quaint sleepy town, great if you want to enjoy the wine country and the get away from the hustle and bustle of other larger cities. If staying during the week make reservations at restaurants and for transportation ahead of time as there are limited options and hours of operation.
The hotels over all presence in this small town is one of royalty and grandeur. I felt like I had arrived at a scene out of a James Bond movie. The old world charm is definitely there, billiard room, small hidden bar, old world dining rooms, candelabra, massive fire places and the escape tunnels that take you to the swimming pool and Spa. We wanted a Castle experience, we got it.
Guarene is a beautiful small village! The hotel is in the center, very well located, with an amazing view! The staff is super friendly, they helped us with all we needed, specially on preparing special dishes for the kids, drinks around the pool... we booked the Junior Suite room, perfect for 2 adults + 2 kids. Very comfortable and extremely clean! Nothing to say, just PERFECT!
The staff were lovely, the breakfast OK. The atmosphere in the breakfast room was cold and austere, there were two pretty feature lights but they threw out so much cold white light they made the room feel very much like a staff canteen, could be fixed with warmer lighting and some more colourful and comfortable furniture. This hotel has lots of potential
It’s a must to stay in this hotel. The design of the hotel is breathtaking, the rooms are marvellous, the pool is absolutely perfect and last but not least: the host was amazing!
She perfectly knew how to fulfill our every need and want, give us information about the right wine tour, restaurant, etc.

Lots of living space in the apartment and very well designed to maximize light and energy. It was in a great location for biking, hiking, wine touring and seeing the old town of Guarene. This is one of the quietest places I have ever slept! I loved the outdoor patio overlooking the countryside.
Beautifully furnished, modern property in a traditional cottage. Fantastic location in the centre of Guarene, within a stones throw from two highly rated restaurants and a lovely village cafe. Amazing views from the village centre of whole of Verona and lovely vineyards.
We had such a great stay, amazing B & B and Nadia even made us some aperitivo when we arrived late afternoon. So well designed and every detail made with love. Amazing breakfast. And we all fell in love with the small village of Guarene. Thank you, we will be back!
