The people are very kind and ready to assist with everything.Communication was perfect all the time. I had a competition to run and had to leave very early, I was met by the owner downstairs and offered a coffee before the breakfast hours.

First -- this is a GREAT place to bring dogs; there is a trail from the hotel up a local wooded hill that my very nervous dogs find restful and, well, useful, which is rare for them on trips. The room is wonderful, balcony and restaurant views spectacular. Comfy and quiet, very snug.

Very nice restored hotel with a lot of charm, very friendly staff and good service, good breakfast and excellent restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, great view from the terrace and certain rooms. Be aware that you're remote on a hill above Varese, but that's what makes this place special. Nice surrounding area with a lot of possibilities for hiking, etc.. Visiting Varese and traveling by train and bus/cable car is possible and quite easy, even with luggage (hotel helps with timetables).
