Incredible hotel. Absolutely beautiful architecture (historic) with waterfront access and beautiful gardens. The staff were truly outstanding, so kind, welcoming, and helpful. One highlight of the hotel was the food -- there are multiple amazing restaurants within the hotel, including Il Fagiano (with a Michelin star). Everything about this hotel was simply perfect, I couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to stay in Gardone Riviera.

Staff was very helpful! Everyone was there to make their guests comfortable and happy. Loved the access to bikes. Took a great 2 hour ride along the lake. Dinner was outstanding! Room was a bit spartan (we like that) but very clean and updated. We liked it very much.

Gardone is quiet but exclusive doesn’t feel touristy like the other little towns around the lake . Gardone itself is a 15 minute walk from grand fasano hotel . It has a few shops and a few restaurants and one delicious deli that sells home made bread sandwiches and cakes .
No bars seen as all are restaurants but they will let you have a drink no doubt .
The ferry is in Gardone and out of season there are few ferries but more after mid May apparently. Because it’s at the far west of the lake it can take longer to reach some towns on the lake . Salò is a 14 minute ferry away and is gorgeous and 5 minutes by driving

Beautiful spot on edge of Lake Garda. Not nearly as busy as the other towns making it a perfect place to stay. Lots of great restaurants to choose from and a ferry station to access other towns. We stayed as a family and it was perfect.

Gardone Riviera is excellent for 7-9 day trip - I stayed for 3 days. I would be satisfied fully with at least staying 5 days - because in order to see all the best spots I needed to pack some of my sightseeing two per day, which was basically ok, but there is no need - it is best to go, see something, and then enjoy time on the beach, by the lake and have nice lunch and dinner. Lake is beautiful, town is small but attractive, it is really worth seeing.

Less touristy than other spots on Lake Garda, also a bit smaller. Looks very impressive as you arrive on the ferry. Lots of grand old hotels lining the water. A number of restaurants along the promenade, providing a nice scenic environment to eat.
Tourist train takes you to the main attraction Il Vittoriale. This area is rally pretty , lots of windy streets , very old and a nice church overlooking the lake and the monument.
Area also serviced by bus up and down the lake. Easy to use and quite inexpensive if you do not have a car.

We liked the staff they became part of the family and gave us good advice. The food is fabulous and the views are amazing go for the balcony rooms if you can. There are lake taxis arriving on a regular basis which makes traveling to other centres very easy.

An absolute gem! The whole stay was fantastic, the wellness room, the great breakfast, lake garda is 15 seconds walk away with plenty of areas to go for a swim in the lake.
The staff are super friendly and very helpful and the restaurant attached to the hotel is really nice!

Location was good for the port area and supermarket nearby. Pool and outside lounge area was reasonably large and comfortable. Breakfast was probably the best we’ve had during our 10 days in Italy (which included an expensive 5*) and service was good. Good coffee aswell!. Rooms were clean, well arranged and comfortable. Big ‘shout out’ for Sarah on reception who was extremely helpful on everything!
Location Location Location!! Hotel Du Lac is perfectly located on the Lake, ideal for hopping on and off the boats to visit other towns all around Lake Garda. Its traffic free, so no noise from cars etc. The staff are very welcoming and hospitable, and the menu offered a variety of delicious dishes, accompanied by a wine list of locally produced Italian wines....no air miles here!
The hotel was a short walk from the lake, local restaurants and water taxis.
The pool was well stocked with loungers and the gardens were lovely.
The staff, particularly Sarah and Aziz were very helpful and kind. The owner came out with his brolly to keep us dry when loading up the car!
The breakfast was delicious- coffee made perfectly to your liking and a lot of choice.
The restaurant was absolutely amazing! The waiters were the best extremely nice and very professional (we loved Antonio) food was some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had,the raviolis were melt in your mouth good wine from the region was really good..all the staff members were great..highly recommend place to stay in the Italian riviera
Stunning location on Lake Garda. Food in restaurant at dinner and breakfast was superb. Staff in restaurant were all exceptional and Paolo was absolutely brilliant. Hotel gardens and pool were lovely. Very convenient for passenger ferry terminal - 5 minute walk.
We had the best experience with this hotel!! The minute we arrived they welcomed us with a smile. franccesco is an amazing person who helped us with everything!! Bike Rental is for free and the wellness area is so relaxing!! Rooms are new and equipped with AC!!
Interieur is rather outdated, but everything worked out flawlessly (parking, check-in, bathroom, AC, etc). The hotel is perfectly situated next to the restaurants around the plaza but still quiet. Nice terrasse on the third (?) floor, which is hardly used.
Location was perfect for us, just a short walk down to get to the waterfront, restaurants and ferry dock. Short walk uphill to park and old center. Hosts were fantastic and had everything we needed and then some. View from the apartment was breathtaking .
Best night sleep , bed was amazing ! Everything is spotless and the decor is great. The staff couldn’t do more to make sure you are comfortable . Location amazing and the food at the restaurant is on a different level.

The view of Lake Garda from our room's balcony was exceptional. Hotel's gracious and voluminous spaces (both indoor and outdoor) gave a feeling of expansiveness and relaxation.
