Quite area though windows facing the back get a humming of heating system or something. Rooms are quiet unless persons are noisy in the corridor or in the next room. With some redecoration the hotel could gain much more on the experience.

The property is small but very well equipped and in a lovely location overlooking the mountains at the other side of the valley. There's a pretty village within walking distance and the host was very attentive when we needed him (fixed the Wifi straight way). We enjoyed our stay and would defiantly come again.

We loved the rustic feel of the room. We loved the terrace and the mountain views. Riccardo the host is so helpful and speaks English. He kindly arranged a table for us in a local restaurant as it was out of season and lots of places were closed.
We loved the breakfast. Such a great variety and really enjoyed the local dairy and meat products.

We booked this hotel as we were filming a documentary in the nearby ski fields and we could not fault this hotel whatsoever. The welcome, the accommodation (We slept perfectly rested despite a 430am start) - even pillow options and the most AMAZING breakfast feast from the lovely Sandra. It was so restful, despite our busy work schedule, that we will be returning immediately. Spotlessly clean. Incredible views. Highly recommended.

In the area you may find at the same time : Campo Imperatore for climbing, but also for walking in a magnificent landscape and ancient churches with painted walls. Moreover there's a lot of little villages with castles and old palaces. Try to avoid to go to Rocca Calascio during weekends if you may; there are too many people.
A hidden gem with beautiful flower gardens by the magical village of Fontecchio, managed by a delightful lady that serves freshly baked treats for breakfast! I definitely recommend staying here and enjoying Fontecchio!
