We went to Sicily for 8 days over Christmas and this was by far the highlight. Floresta is a small village located at 1300m in the Nebrodi mountains, and our room had a very nice view of it. The owner also owns a small shop and restaurant downstairs and we had dinner there too. The food was locally produced, tasted amazing and felt so homemade. The owner was also such a friendly gentleman. The room itself was nice too, very clean and featured a large bathroom.

Immersed in nature, the location was simply stunning. There were plenty of trekking opportunities nearby and the property made great use of natural elements to decorate itself in a functional manner. This is a perfect place if your trip is about enjoying and immersing yourself in nature. Food was plenty, varied, and delicious. This is a good thing given how isolated the property is (nearest village of Floresta is 20-30 mins away and the road is quite broken), meaning it's unlikely you want to head out during the night for food elsewhere.

Don't know where to start first as everything was beyond our expectations. The location is great, right near the castle with a beautiful view and authentic feeling. We are really glad that we choose to stay in this location in our journey in Sicily, it was special. The house is renovated and very clean, everything is thought until the very small detail in order to please the guest in my opinion. It really felt as a safe and quiet place to stay in. The host was nice and made sure to guide us in our way to reach the property.

Fantastic apartment with a kitchen, a very comfortable sofa and two separate bedrooms, one with a jacuzzi and the other with an amazing shower. We also very much appreciated the help of Signora Anna, who helped us find the way to the apartment through the phone and was available throughout our stay for any question or anything we might need.
