This was my second time staying at beautiful hotel Kalura. I was so impressed the first time I had to bring my family here this year and safe to say it was also a 10/10 stay.
Beautiful views, private access to the sea, gym, swimming pool & top tier restaurant, lovely little walk into town. We both had one of our best ocean swims of the year! (even in Nov.) 🌊

Being in the old town you cannot park close, but the instructions for their dedicated parking lot a quick walk away was easy to follow. Using WhatsApp to request the gate to be opened was easy. I chose not to drive to the hotel to drop my bags off because it is a fairly flat walk with only a short amount of cobble stones to navigate (my bag is only small and only about 10kg so not to much of an issue on cobbles).
All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially the lady who manages breakfast and cleans the rooms, was absolutely lovely. She couldn’t do enough to help me.
Very close and easy walking to all restaurants, the water, the cathedral etc.

Our room was beautiful, and the entire property was well-maintained and clean – a big plus for the hotel! We especially enjoyed the evening on the terrace with a glass of wine, which created a perfect atmosphere.

We loved this hotel. It was in a lovely peaceful location and the hotel was extremely clean and tidy. There is a small outside bar which is open all day and evening and there is a restaurant for breakfast and evening meals. The food was lovely. The menu wasnt long but we tried most of the food and all was good quality. They even went so far as preparing special food for my daughter off menu which was a lovely touch. What I loved most about the hotel was the staff. Every single staff member was friendly and went out of their way to help you. They accommodated all our needs. We particularly felt the waiters in the main restaurant were lovely and the bar staff were so smiley and friendly. My 7 year old daughter also really enjoyed her time as the staff all made conversation and even gave her a big hug. She loved the positive attention.

Cefalu is a gem in the north shores of Sicily!!
Cefalu is a gem in the north shores of Sicily!! Its old town and castle magnificently restored with quaint streets and churches to discover but just a few meters away many open air Restaurants, Bistros and bars adorn its shores, all good food and prices quite reasonable. The staff, street vendors and shop owners are always happy to see you too, they love tourists! Quaint little shops sell jewelry that is both exquisite and unique too and reasonably priced. Its a central meccha for La Bella Vita in Sicily too so watch out for the many Alfa Romeos, Lancia's and Ferraris cruising the miracle mile lungomare with their attendant beautiful Italian nuveax riche. Its central open air car park very reasonably priced too and sets right in the middle of the lungomare so great for all the restaurants in the evenings and cheap at a few Euros for an evening's stay. The Street futher up from the lungomare has all the Pharmacies, daily shops and supermarket for stocking up your hotel frigobar too. All in all a Cefalu is a gem of a place ideal for a great holiday with family and friends :)

High up in the hills, 6 km away from the busy Cefalu beaches...
High up in the hills, 6 km away from the busy Cefalu beaches and city, you find this nice and quiet place. Quiet also means that nothing much is going on, except some walking in the area. The accomodation is sober (no extra luxury) but clean and sufficient. Parking on the premises. Good to relax for a few days but also fine to visit Cefalu.
Be careful to interpret the pictures, since the place has multiple different apartments and it's hard to tell which picture belongs to which. For instance, some have a magnificent view, whereas another is partly behind a wall.

October was perfect, not too busy , the sea was warm ,weather perfect, it is still a small town with low key shops and restaurants.
Although it must lose its charm in July/August when
sunbeds are 50+ euros and one cant walk through the narrow streets due to too many people.

Even for seasoned travellers, Cefalù can be very interesting and enjoyable for a limited time.
Try not to stay in the old town. It is very crowded an noisy.
Don't be put off taking the path up the Rocca di Cefalù. It’s not a difficult climb, you get there faster than you think and the views are unforgettable.

Pater Meus Suites was one of the best places we stayed in Sicily. It was very spacious and clean. It also had a fully equipped kitchen that allowed us to make full meals from. The bed was a bit more on the soft side and there wasn't any extra blankets in the wardrobe readily available if you get cold at night. The swimming pool and lounging area was a great spot to relax and enjoy the sun throughout the day.
The hotel is a gem in the area of Cefalu', a wonderful town of Sicily on the sea. The staff is fantastic and the restaurants are of great quality. Calaluna, gourmet restaurant, led by talentous Chef Dario Pandolfo was the best culinary experience of our stay.
Our warmest welcome so far in Sicily. It is family owned and the staff couldn’t do enough for you especially Elisa who was so smiling and helpful, with excellent English. Stunning view from our balcony. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and fresh fruit.
The only good thing was the swimming pool and very small but very cozy sandy beach right at the bottom of the hotel.
Even the hotel has its own beach, but the one right at the bottom of the hotel is so much better and nicer.
The hotel is in a pleasant quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The best part of the property is the swimming pool area and garden. Very pretty and relaxing.
