What a beautiful campground with very friendly and helpful staff.

Located 800 metres above sea level, between Lake Como and Lake Lugano, Villa San Fedele is an early 20th-century building and offers classic-style rooms with free WiFi.
Right on the shore of Lake Como, opposite Urio Pier, Hotel Orso Bruno is a 20-minute drive from Como. Rooms are simply furnished and some overlook either the mountains or the lake.

I was just running there in the mountains. Eat in some places on the route. Very much enjoyed views from the Monte Pasquella, Costone, di Lenno, di Tremezzo, and Generose. Everywhere went by legs. Please, note that you need to raise your hand to stop the bus :) I also visited Ristorante Hosterietta which was the only open place nearby - simple, but satisfying.

Peaceful and scenic location a couple hundred meters above lake Como. It takes approximately ten minutes by bus to reach Argegno the nearest lakeside village. Perfect place to explore the lake and its surroundings.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was large - half the size of the room :). It had all the amenities expected of a hotel.
The reception is at Hotel La Torre - 10 m up the street - where you can also have breakfast for a separate fee. The breakfast was a great experience - quiet, elegant atmosphere, views of the valley and good buffet selection. Staff was welcoming, polite and offered good suggestions on places to eat.
Definitely worth a stay! We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel La Torre and will come back again.

Great value for money, particularly for Lake Como. Mountain village with picturesque mountain scenery and manager and staff exceptionally friendly, helpful and informative, who were very kind in placing us in a nice quiet room at the rear of the hotel. Coffee in the cafe downstairs was well priced and very convenient.
Where to start, there were many things we liked about this hotel:
- the staff is great, always helpful, friendly making us feel like home
- the story behind the building turning the place into a chic boutique hotel like
- large terrace
- tasty and diverse breakfast
The staff was absolutely polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic and it is also close to Lugano, Switzerland. Our room and bathroom was very-very clean and and we had daily room cleaning too.
Hotel provides a secure car-park on site.
Was an amazing hotel in a lovely Italian town. Locals were very friendly and warm. Bus service to Argengo needs to be planned around but is by no means an inconvenience. Great place all round.
