The hotel was good ,
The hotel was good ,
The only downsize was u can only buy a bus ticket single trip from The hotel and I must pay with cash while u can pay with card The hotel itself.
Then we had to wait till 16.00 o clock to buy bustickets at The local tobacco store.
Becoz u cant buy a ticket in The bus to venice, I found a little bit sufficiënt and old fashion in a modern world today …….but hé I got to see venice and that was sooooooo great for an old man like me :)

I don't even know the name of the person who welcomed my family. That madam's beautiful smile keeps coming to mind. I think I will keep thinking of the breakfast that she prepared deliciously with all her sincerity.

Campalto is a little a little run down with lots of empty shops and not a great deal to do. However, there are many little cafés/bars that are open very long hours. Plenty of places to eat and drink at a fairly reasonable price. Very close to the airport and Venice city both just a short bus ride away, but beware as buses are fairly pricey and 1 price whether you want to travel 1 stop or from one end of the line to the other.
It would be interesting to compare Campalto now to pre covid as I wonder if lack of business, during covid, has caused a lot of the shops to close. Even the large Marco Polo hotel is closed at present
Our stay was very good , the room was very nice and with a sink inside , and outside the shared toilet and shower which was very clean and big ,
The woman in the reception I guess is the owner was very kind and polite , they have a restaurant where we had the breakfast included, it was very good and with a lot of stuff , the location is very good as it has the bus stop in front to go to Venice and come back , the price of the hotel is very good ,
I highly recommend it
Breakfast was lovely. Fried eggs, cold cuts, cheese, bread, pastries, fruit, juice and great cappucino. Room was well arranged to sleep 4 people with shelving on one wall for everyone to put their belongings. Small table to sit at, nice bathroom. Gated parking and the bus to center of Venice picks up nearly at the hotel.
The location is convenient for taking buses to Venice, from airport to hotel, going to Mestre, to train stations in Mestre and Venice, near some excellent restaurants, staff is very friendly and helpful. If you travel with a group of friends or family, this hotel is a good choice.

We booked at Hotel Mary because we had an early flight but really enjoyed our night there. The area was peaceful after Venice, with a nice restaurant close by. The room was quiet and sunny and our host even took us to the airport when we couldn't get a taxi.
The location was amazing - there is a supermarket and a bus stop right in front of the hotel which makes it super easy and convenient to get to the centre of Venice without driving. The breakfast was lovely with a variety of sweet and savory options.
10 minutes drive from the airport, simple yet nice breakfast, staff is very nice, free on site parking, great value for money. Easy access to Venice by public transport (around 15 minutes, 1.5 euro, bus station 5 minutes by foot from hotel).
The rooms were nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. Parking is on site. Breakfast was delightful! If you are driving into Venice proper, it is a short, easy drive. There two good restaurants on both sides of the hotel.
The room was very clean and good looking. The hotel is close to a few bus stations and that makes it easy to get to Venice. There is a Lidl at around 10 minutes of walking and also a bike parking where you can rent a bike.
The room was big and comfortable. Staffs were nice and very helpful. The hotel is located in a perfect place from where the airport is 10 min, and Venice train station is 20 min distance by car/bus.
The hotel is cosy enough and the location is very good, only 15 minutes away from Piazzale Roma (Venice) by bus. It is a good budget option for 1-3 nights. Check-in and check-out was very easy.
Breakfast was very nice. Staff was helpful e.g. when Wifi did not work. Connection to Venice was perfect (15 min by bus and busstop right outside the hotel). Parking right infront of the hotel.
Great value, easy check in and host kindly provided a breakfast bag as I was checking out early morning to go to the airport.
Bus stop outside with direct buses to Venice and VCE airport.
