I truly enjoyed my stay at Santa Chiara, even if it was just for one night. Bruna was very welcoming and I found a spotless room with plenty of space overlooking a lovely garden. You will find many books in the room and the apartment in general, which is always a good sign for me indicating that to host is a cultured and nuanced person, and this is certainly the case with Bruna. Breakfast was very abundant and excellent, I could taste some of her home-made muffins, which I enjoyed a lot. The room is very quiet and I could rest very well.

Went to Bra on a hockey trip during August which is when a lot of shops and restaurants are closed so struggled to find authentic cuisine.
This is not a tourist town but one of the biggest in the area.
You will need a car to see more of this lovely region.
The location was perfect for me as close to the sports facilities I was using but also near enough the town centre to walk in there. The local pattisserie is great for breads and pastries but there are also 2 supermarkets for everyday essentials and even they do loads of bread, cheeses and meats. The property has ample secure offroad parking which suited me well. The flat was well equipped and there was a laundry downstairs so perfect. The hosts met me to introduce themselves and to give me a quick guided tour which was really appreciated.
It is a very well maintained hotel and is very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful with all questions. Room had all amenities including toiletries, tea/ coffee maker. Our room had a spa bath which we also enjoyed - bath salts were provided in the room. The bfast was also very nice and quite abundant with a choice of sweet and savory dishes and all types of beverages. A big plus is their underground parking which is super safe and is connected directly to the hotel.
Francesca is a heart-warming host, who makes you feel like at home. The accomodation is set in lovely nature surroundings, with an ideal location to explore Turin and nearby wine region by car. The room is comfortable with a really big bathroom and a lovely balcony.
Francesa is also a very talented painter and designer as you will see when you visit her. And she makes the best scrambled eggs for breakfast!
Good peaceful location within a walking distance to Bra town center. Beautiful, pictoresque villa and garden, taken care of with love, and a nice pool area. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms, very friendly host family. The suite we stayed in was very comfortable, with a nice view over the town. Good restaurants nearby - you should definitely try La Boqueria, owned by the host family.

Brand new renovated villa: small-scale and perfect hosts (2 brothers). The room is very comfortable with a lovely bed and ditto shower. The beautiful pool is a wonderful place to relax; very calming with lots of birdsongs in the background ;-).

Not what we expected. Very noisy room next to church bell tower. Hotel parking accessible only through a locked gate. There was no one in the reception area one evening and the door into the hotel was locked. We had to wait 15 minutes to get in.
We had a wonderful time on our stay at Porte ad Acre - would highly recommend! The place is beautiful, amazingly located in the very center of Bra, and the host is lovely, friendly, and super accommodating. Do not miss
