Shower was refreshing The hotel has a wonderful trattoria and would recommend eating there. Front desk staff was very friendly both during checkin and checkout. The stay was colored by the heavy hailstorms around the Garda Lake in July 2023. This phenomenon sometimes affected our mood but the staff is certainly not to blame for this. The really did what they could. Under other circumstances, I would probably be more lyric about my stay.
It is difficult to describe in a short review how special and beautiful this apartment is. Position (in the middle of the fortress) is outstanding. Enterior design is fantastic. Every corner of this apt is full of clever solutions and ideas. And to have this "bar culture", or rather "gin drinking culture", as a light motif is so charming. Bedizzole might not be well known, but it worths staying there, enjoying the apartment and being close to beaches and night out in Desenzano. Bravo Ermanno!
Villa Marina is a beautiful little hotel located in Bedizzole. The room is stayed in was well equipped, clean and spacious. The owners are super nice and friendly. I needed to move from Bedizzole to Manerba, and the lady was so kind to drive me there with her car which I really appreciated. Lake Garda is just 8 kilometres away from the hotel and the city centre is about a 2 kilometre walk from the hotel. The supermarket is just 200 metres away.
Breakfast was good, this place is romantic and you have a feeling that the time has stopped in 19. century, peacock walks through the garden freely and there is a barn with more than ten cats behind the palace who are taken good care of. There were four families when we were there and all the guests talk to each other not like in ordinary hotels
Old Italian palazzo, large room. Horses, chicks and peacocks on a territory. The most strange hotel I ever stayed in. Breakfast was good. Recommended: restaurant IL MEDITERRANEO nearby, very tasty and inexpensive local experience.
The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful place. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and there is a balcony. The breakfast is good. Peacocks roam freely in the yard. It's like I'm a guest in a castle.
The rooms are regular hotel rooms but everything else is out of a fairy tale! A superb old mansion in the country side with large gardens full of peacocks. Loved it!
