The meals were lovely especially the porcini mushrooms which are in season. These days it seems many hotels have started to skimp on the soaps etc so it was nice that the hotel provided them. It’s close to many beautiful hikes and not far from the lake. Nice front lawn seating.

Our stay at this authentic stone house in Agregno, a few walking minutes away from the lake, was fantastic. The hosts were incredible, paying attention to every detail, from restaurant recommendations to treats and breakfast supplies, to information about the local area. The house exceeded our expectations; it's way more beautiful than in the pictures. We'll definitely be returning, hopefully this year and for a longer stay to explore the stunning surroundings of the lake!

Apartment was very clean, comfortable, and had amazing views! The location was also perfect and right next to the Argegno square and any bus stops or ferries you may need to travel around Como.

Argegno is a beautiful area with many restaurants offered than the nearby counterparts. There is also a bar to enjoy to.
We had the pre wedding cocktail party at the Villa Belvedere by the lake. The food were delicious. Argegno location has stunning backdrop of the Lake and nature collides. The clouds will come down and the touch the mountain forest in the morning or in the afternoon. Its such a beautiful thing to see.
Because Argegno is a bit regional or far from Como Lago, you will find English language is hard to come by. Taxi is difficult to find. Even if you will find a number to call through your host or by the post, your call most likely will never be answered like mine! Their so called taxi in Argegno is a private taxi. Do not expect the word “TAXI” printed on the car. Highly recommended to get your own car rental sorted out before heading to this beautiful location. However, the road will give you an adrenalin rush. It is narrow. Two big cars are a crowd :). Small car would make a difference navigating to the road.

Nice small village directly on the lake. Small centre with about 4-5 restaurants/bars and a very small "alimentari". All you need for a stay of a few days.
Not too many public beaches on Lago di Como in general, but you can find nice spots quite close, if you look for (e.g. Lenno)
Located about 15 min from Como (car) and about 15 min from Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbinanello and from the ferry station to Bellagio-
Next supermarket could be a little close. We found the next bigger one in Tremezzino, about 5-10 min drive.

Peaceful & serene, family hotel, helpful friendly staff, fulfilled every wish. Good restaurant attached to the hotel with bar, extensive menu. Good continental style breakfast with cappuccino/expresso included. Ferry across the road as well as the bus. Lovely quiet area, we went to a beautiful free concert in the local church with a harp orchestra. Easy access to the other parts of the lake by bus, ferry, taxi or car. Other restaurants in walking distance & there was a private pool with sun lounges down the road. I would have liked to stay longer.

Do NOT stay here. This place was severely infested with bedbugs and other insects (both at beds, sofas and inside in general). It would need a proper chemical pest control action and renovation of ever to be used for people to stay. Marika C from the accommodation communicated only for a bit – was very unconstructive, dishonest and then blocked us (instead of offering any solution). This property should not be on Booking as it’s a health hazard.
Unless you want to bring pests and bed bugs back to your home (or have to leave after 10 mins to stay in a pricey hotel last minute) – don’t bother booking.

Good base to explore other resorts on Lake Como by Ferry service. Nice friendly local bars & restaurants. Great public Lido & fantastic boat hire service available. Buses are a bit unreliable & would not recommend staying in a apartment on the hill without a car unless you are in super fit condition-as the walk to & from town is very strenuous.
Beautiful location, beautiful view. The pool area was lovely and was empty - felt like we had our own private pool at times! We had the best holiday and everything was as expected, comfy rooms and an amazing balcony. Such a peaceful location out of the hustle and bustle. Daniela was very helpful and always available if we needed anything. Argegno town is lovely with great restaurants - booking is essential for dinner , as restaurants in the town get busy :)
We loved staying in this hotel nestled up the hill away from the crowds, takes around 30 mins to walk to Argeno from where there a good ferry and bus service, then around 40 mins walks from Argeno to the hotel as uphill. We enjoyed the walks as good exercise and nice views! However 2 days we hired a car which made things very convenient but there can be very bad traffic!! Staff friendly and super comfy rooms with a balcony.
Cozy inn in peaceful surroundings. The inn is on the trekking path from Argegno and connects to numerous hikes in Val d'Intelvi. The restaurant offers majestic views of the valley. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Highly recommend trying the restaurant for lunch or dinner as well, as they have wonderful local dishes and wine at reasonable prices. Comfortable beds, spotless rooms and bathrooms. Friendly staff.
Argegno wonderful view is the perfect stay for a holiday. The views from all windows and doors are spectacular.We were 3 couples and we had everything we needed for the 6 of us.House was nice and warm when you go in after being outside in the cold. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Staff very friendly especially Vanessa and Angelica. I highly recommend it.
The view of Lake Como from this flat is simply unbelievable. You're having breakfast in the terrace with the village of Argegno underneath and uncompromised views of the lake. The view alone makes it worth staying here. The flat is also enormous. The main bedroom downstairs has an ensuite and lots of space. Two other rooms and two other bathrooms upstairs.
Really nice apartment in the old town of Argegno. Very close to the restaurants and cafes as well as the bus stop and the ferry terminal. The property is actually a two bedroom, not just a one bedroom as advertised. The second bedroom has a full size bed so it’s ideal for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Great location, lovely host that was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. Easy access via the ferry to other towns along the lake, but a beautiful spot in Argegno too. Modern interior that was very clean and had all the facilities you need.
This little apartment was located in the centre of Argegno, with a small balcony overlooking the dried up river, lake and road.
It was only a short walk to the main ferry stop, cafes and bus stop for travelling up and down the lakeside.
