The main street which connects restaurants and is used by cars has no sidewalk. Some alternative bike routes are well kept and well designed. A map of those might be useful. No need for cars just to feel more safe. One general well designed map of a city and all the hot spots might be a good idea. There comes a very near future where light pollution would be a more prominent issue so please there is no need to furter invest in reflectors for all escavated areas and landmarks. Taking a couple of reflectors down can even make it better. It just needs to be visible there is something. Not to make a daylight replecement. Market remains for example are too lit. Coffee places next to basilica are an open secret. Great place truly.

A lovely place to stay.
A lovely place to stay. Room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was fabulous and included brioche and freshly squeezed juice. Food at bar down stairs was delicious. Free use of bikes was a wonderful way to explore Aquileia. We’ll be back!
Perfect situacion to ride bike. Direct access to a bike way paralell but separate of the main road which conect with Grado. There are also some other bike ways to visit the countryside. Staff was really nice and helpfull.
Dont´expect a classical hotel, it´s a basically a bar with 2 rooms to rent on first floor, recent redone. Modern and in good contition. Bar wasn´t loud for me, but I was on covid time and don´t know if it can be a problem to rest in a normal situation.

The host spoke good English and very helpful in providing the local information. If you like the hostel setting, then no problem. It is basically a hostel with private room and designated (your own) wash room/toilet. If you are expecting the comfort of a hotel room, then here is not for you. Room and toilet is clean. And the location to the Roman ruin/basilica is good walkable distance.
This is an excellent choice for staying in Aquileia. The cabins are small, but modern and super clean and it’s great to look out onto the archeological site from your window. The staff is very warm and the bikes were the best we’ve ever rented in our extensive travels—great trip to Grado along paths for cyclists and pedestrians.

Very well appointed apartment in the middle of historic Aquileia, with a view from the terrace straight out onto this basilica and campanile. Air conditioning useful in the summer heat.
Lots going on in the village over the sunset months, with live music in the square most evenings.
Aquileia is a beautiful historical place. The Domus is not far from the main square (parking is possible only there, about 300 m away) and walking distance to Basilica di Aquileia, the best basilica in the whole region. We love this town, its atmosphere breathing with history.

The hotel is of easy bus access from the nearest train station and is situated just next to main monument. It has a very good restaurant and the personnel was very nice.

Warm large room. Large bathroom, hot water. Breakfast was quite good. Furniture is quite old. Parking garage 7 euro/day in the building next to the hotel.
