Guruvayur is an excellent place to visit both in terms of religious purposes and to enjoy scenic beauties of nature .There are many places worth visiting here. The city is pollution free, very helping and well behaved people here to guide visitors from other states, roads are clean and one can feel relaxed here amidst nature after a busy life.

Every year at least once we visit Guruvayoorappan (and at least every six hours every day in the mind!)
I suggest everyone allowed by temple rules must visit to find solutions for their problems,
There’s bad management of roads, drainage systems (our hotel bathroom rooms have drainage stench even at second floor 😡)
This is happening to a place which should be maintained to the highest level of standards humanely possible!

Hotels should have 24 Hrs. check-in and check out depending upon the request of the person booking the room. Most of the Hotels are keeping 2.00 pm check-in and 2.00 pm check-out. It will not suit to the Pilgrims.

Guruvayoor Sri Krishna Temple is one of the ancient Hindu Temples of Kerala. A must visit for worship.There are many festivals celebrated there and also daily poojas. The nightly "seeveli" when the deity is paraded on elephants accompanied by Thayambaka (music)is a must see and happens every night around 8.30 to 9 PM and lasts about an hour.
I have stayed at many facilities at Guruvayur before but Sreepathi Prayag was altogether a different experience. The location, room design, bed and linen, neat and clean toilets, and the other amenities provided were of superior quality compared to the booking expenses. The staff members provided all support. Sandhya ma'am ensured a smooth check in and check out and was ready to clarify on all queries. In strongly recommend Sreepathi Prayag to those who look for a pleasant stay at Guruvayur. Kudos to the entire team.
Srivar is one of the best place in Guruvayur for family stay, the rooms are very clean, I have stayed in the same place 6 years before I visited Guruvayur and its always amazing as it was before, the Staffs in the hotel are very nice and they always help us with their best efforts. It was a very pleasant stay overall. This place is very close to the temple's West Nada, less than 10 minutes walk. I would highly recommend Srivar for a memorable stay in Guruvayur.
The hotel was well located. It was hardly a 30 sec walk to Guruvayur temple. But this hotel deserve a good rating because of their efficiency in helping me search for some items left behind and even sending me the CCTV footage.
