Guruvayur is an excellent place to visit both in terms of religious purposes and to enjoy scenic beauties of nature .There are many places worth visiting here. The city is pollution free, very helping and well behaved people here to guide visitors from other states, roads are clean and one can feel relaxed here amidst nature after a busy life.

Every year at least once we visit Guruvayoorappan (and at least every six hours every day in the mind!)
I suggest everyone allowed by temple rules must visit to find solutions for their problems,
There’s bad management of roads, drainage systems (our hotel bathroom rooms have drainage stench even at second floor 😡)
This is happening to a place which should be maintained to the highest level of standards humanely possible!

Hotels should have 24 Hrs. check-in and check out depending upon the request of the person booking the room. Most of the Hotels are keeping 2.00 pm check-in and 2.00 pm check-out. It will not suit to the Pilgrims.

Guruvayoor Sri Krishna Temple is one of the ancient Hindu Temples of Kerala. A must visit for worship.There are many festivals celebrated there and also daily poojas. The nightly "seeveli" when the deity is paraded on elephants accompanied by Thayambaka (music)is a must see and happens every night around 8.30 to 9 PM and lasts about an hour.
This was the most amazing stay I have had in a while, because of the location I could travel to the Famous Guruvayur Temple at ease, the beds were comfy such that I was completely refreshed when I woke up in the morning, staff was very polite and showed their professionalism, the scenery in the balcony was quite nice with the fresh air. It was completely worth my money and I would like to visit again some time soon.
Polite staff. Clean rooms. There was unlimited coffee or tea from 12am to 9am, which is important in guruvayur as you normally wake up quite early in the morning for temple visits. Due to corona I had to print the entry passes (mobiles are not allowed in temple). The hotel took the print outs for me without any hesitation. Overall very good stay and nice hotel.
I booked Shiva Inn, Guruvayur through online (booking.com) for check in at 7-8 am which was approved by the hotel manager with no extra charges. . Next day morning, while checkout at 9.15 am, for extra one hour they charged Rs.700 including tax. But they gave a manuall bill only and not a GST bill. They did not keep up the promise given in their approval.

This hotel provides 3 beds and 4 beds options for big family. Hotel is very clean and good place to stay with family. Temple is at walkable distance, car parking facility available at the property. Nearby lot of options for shops.
Room was neat and clean. Hotel located in main place, easy to reach guruvayur temple, ksrtc busstand and the places like aanakkotta and chavakkadu beach are easily reachable from this hotel. Love this place

Everything was great with this hotel, enjoyed the stay even though just a night. The staff was exceptionally courteous and friendly, room was spacious and comfortable.
The amenity was excellent. Staff were very friendly. The hotel and its rooms were quite neat and tidy. In future also, I will prefer booking in this hotel.
