We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Sheila is a very welcoming hostess and the breakfasts very tasty. There are beautiful walks in the area and it’s just a nice distance to a beautiful choice of good dining places in Dunmore East. The views from our room were stunning. The peace and quiet was glorious. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Well, we wanted tranquility in a beautiful place, low on crowds and where for a few days the word didn't intrude. We ate in the Strand Inn the first night, excellent dinner and a superb bottle of wine. The second night we were late starting out and we rushed to get to the Azurro, the main kitchen had closed and my heart sank when they told us that we could only have pizza as that oven was still on. But as it happens, I had the best pizza I have ever tasted outside of Italy! It was absolutely delicious! and not a bad bottle of wine! Forget about activities, there is history all around the area, check it out!
