After a frazzled couple of days of driving, what surprised us most was the immediate calm we felt upon entering Castle Hackett. The room was big and beautiful, the beds were crisp and comfortable, and the shower was the perfect temperature. The children were delighted with the cows in the adjoining fields.
Breakfast the next day was serene with the smell of the turf fire, the gentle lull of Irish music and the perfectly cooked breakfast.
Did I mention the beautiful views of rolling fields, the interesting history of the building itself, the library filled with books, comfy chairs and board games or the looped forest walk leading to a castle ruin on your doorstep?
Above all the warmth of Joyce and Aidan's hospitality was the highlight of our visit.

We really loved our stay at Cregg Castle ,,
So relaxed and kids had a blast playing hide and seek and exploring the castle .
The shared Kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed to cook,
Alan was great host and very accommodating .
Just a really cool chilled place to go , leave the kids run wild and explore , we had a lovely walk up to the graveyard mighty excitement as there was cows in the field .

If youre looking for a Quiet Peaceful Get Away this place is ideal!!!! Only a stones throw from nearest Village which has a few nice place to eat out. The apartment...was more like a house!!! Beautifully furnished....cozy and absolutely immaculate!!! To say we were impressed was an understatement!!! The host was amazing and was kind enough to leave us bread...milk ...butter...biscuits!!! Our stay was a 5***** stay and we will be back for a longer stay during the Summer!!! This property by far was cleaner than any hotel weve ever stayed in!!! Hats off to the hostess...well done

I know Tuam as I've been there before mostly for family...
I know Tuam as I've been there before mostly for family events.
There are quite a few pubs. I ate in one The Brogue and the food was excellent and value for money.
I stayed in The Coralea Court which is very central.
Parking is not the best in The Coralea Court but I was one of the lucky ones. They don't have many spaces.
lovely hotel room but we had to book a suite because that's all they had available it was very expensive but there was nowhere else we could have booked nothing else available in that area this hotel has Ukran people that is taken most of the hotel rooms up didn't mind but we were not told anything about this when booking ,no food available here no breakfast or anything most disappointing lovely town would visit again but wont be staying in this hotel again not worth the money we paid
Hotel was just perfect after a long journey . Evening meal was very nice and breakfast very welcome . The staff were lovely, charming and extremely polite and informative . We will definatley recommend to future travellers and thank you so much.

Convenient location for walking around Tuam. Free parking behind the hotel was an added bonus considering we were told they had no parking on site and were initially directed to park in the public pay lot.

Clean comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Tuam with a good restaurant and nice staff. There was a big bathroom with a bathtub. Bathtubs are a bit of luxury these days
