Very easy to check in and given helpful information e.g. where to eat and get breakfast. Room was spotless and bed was comfy. Yes you are over a pub we stayed on a Saturday night so there was some noise but once it was closing time there was no further noise and we slept very well. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in the area.

Clara and German were very welcoming and helpful hosts. Clara even dried our wet jackets for us. The room was good for us, nice and quiet, good space. The breakfasts were excellent. Madra Rua is in a great location- comfortable drives to Malin Head and to Inch Island which are superb.

Beautiful restored Irish cottage in a quiet rural landscape. The views from the property were amazing. The country roads in the area were safe for walking along as there was very little traffic.
Pollan Strand and Isle of Doagh are a 5 minute drive away and are wonderful sunset locations.
Carndonagh is about 10 minute drive away and has shops for purchasing food and drink.
