Phyllis is a warm and friendly host, and we enjoyed her company and our stay. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was substantial with a range of options to cover all dietary preferences. The accommodation is situated somewhat off the beaten track, not far from the shores of Lough Corrib, and the 'vibe' was quiet and relaxing. Beech Lodge is an 'old school' B&B with all its attendant charms.

We liked the location and the proximity to the city. We loved the breakfast and really enjoyed the choice of variety and freshly baked/made breakfast. All the staff were so friendly and very helpful, especially the very understanding receptionist, who handled our room criticism professionally, understandably and efficiently. After our conversation with the lady we actually reflected on our stay and seeing she was so understanding and kind enough to give us our breakfasts with no charge, we decided to increase our score, because while some of the issues were down to the hotel upkeep the lack of sleep was beyond the hotel responsibility. The room bed & linen was spotlessly clean as were the floor and room in general.

Everything was fantastic. Staff were lovely. I was able to check in early. Some lovely touches in the room like snack bars, sparkling and still water. The breakfast was phenomenal - great selection and delicious. Would stay again and recommend to a friend for sure.

Enjoyed our Ireland trip, with a very good 3-day stay in the "Beech Lodge": the Irish hospitality, the tasty and extensive breakfast, where the guests are pampered. Thank you very much Phyllis and Tony; we will always remember this fantastic stay.
