The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and a great size. The host (Elaine) communicated well with us and was very lovely. Elaine was very welcoming and we really enjoyed our visit during breakfast. We enjoyed our breakfast and had a very relaxing stay. The location is fantastic with magnificent views over the rolling green landscape. This is a small castle. It’s charming and stunning at the same time. Loved the morning walk in the pristine surroundings. Old trees, rhododendrons, fields with grazing thoroughbreds. Very homeish feeling. Spacious rooms and real Irish breakfast (perfect fuel for the day’s hike). Wonderful staff, when you need something, otherwise we actually had the place for ourselves which was great. We bought our own drinks and food and could use the facilities in the kitchen and dining room. Don’t miss this gem❣️

This is a lovely old country house, well situated for my requirements, and near Doneraile Park which is lovely for walks. Rooms are very spacious. Nice pub for evening meals.
