Harbour View Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Garnish

Situated in Castletownbere and only 4.1 km from Dunboy Castle, Harbour View Bed & Breakfast features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

No cooked breakfast but was for us the best of breakfasts: fast, plenty of healthy and fresh choices (excellent cold salmon), thoughtful gluten-free offering in response to our request in advance. Very good location, a couple of blocks from town center yet quiet, a bit uphill with a nice view of the harbour. Roomy bathroom with lots of natural light. Excellent, charming host.

The B&B is most certainly the best one we’ve ever stayed in, it was better than a 5* hotel! The room was just beautiful it had French doors going out to the garden, we were given a glass of bubbly each on arrival and when we returned from our meal out the bed was turned down with chocolates and there was a night cap for us both with a lovely note saying have a good night sleep!! Our breakfast was amazing and we were even given biscuits and cakes for our journey!!

The drive from Allihies to Eyeries is so beautiful, don't forget to stop and rest awhile and just take it all in. We brought our Dog and he loved it as much as us. A walkers paradise for sure. Make sure to interact with locals and discover secret places , I'm sayin no more! :-) The Fish & Chips from the Dursey Delli under the Cable Car were so good, as were their Buffalo Burgers - not to be missed.
