Lots of facilities in the area such as a leisure centre and also a shopping centre with a late opening chemist. There are also a number of supermarkets and pubs / restaurants close by.
Lovely town that is close to a number of locations so ideal if you are planning to travel around the Mid West of Ireland or further afield. Good coach and bus links plus a train station too, so plenty of travel options, including being close to Knock Airport.

Room was lovely, v clean.
Room was lovely, v clean. However bar staff and waiting staff for breakfast were not mannerly and left you waiting for ages. Staff were rude. For breakfast they moved us from table even though there was no one at it and made a big deal out of it. They also did the same to an elderly couple after us and they had touched the cutlery and didn't sanitise the table or cutlery and another couple sat there then. Thought this was v unprofessional with covid 19. Kept moving people from tables, very unorganised and v slow considering it was very quiet there. Tables weren't cleaned in breakfast area and this was the same for bar. Only thing good about this hotel is the room, no people skills/customer service in breakfast room or bar area which is a shame.

The trip to Claremoris was very enjoyable as we went to Michael English weekend on the Friday night and Sathurday afternoon in the Mc William hotel. Great entermainent and met a lot of people. We had food in the hotel. Vey enjoyable trip.
Although located on a busy road, peace and quiet rulke once you turn onto the property of Conway's B&B. A beautiful garden immediately shows you how much love and attention Pat and Carmel invest in this lovely B&B. The reception was courteous and the room immaculate. The pointers on where to go for a walk and eat something in nearby Claremorris were very useful. The highlight was a lovely breakfast with homemade courgette-bread (Glad I asked for the recipe...).
Carmel and Pat are the very gracious hosts of this superb B&B which is excellent in every aspect. Just a couple of minutes drive from the busy town of Claremorris here you will find a great welcome in very comfortable, spotless and peaceful surroundings. Delicious home cooked fare make the breakfast menu second to none and attention to detail is outstanding. This B&B puts most hotels in the shade and I strongly recommend for everyone.
Breakfast was not included that was stated when I made the booking. Colm was a great host. I could make tea, use of all facilities tea milk etc. The bathroom was very clean and tidy and free use of all shower gels toothpaste etc great location in claremorris. Excellent value for the money and Plenty of places to have a great breakfast or dinner in the town
I have stayed many times at the McWilliam and I always know that I will enjoy my stay here. All the services are second to none. The hotel is always busy but there isn't any noise at night even when there is a show on.
The location was excellent for access to the local town, just a few minutes walk. Quick and easy check in. Spa facilities worked well for me. Staff taking good care of Covid processes was great to see too.
I have stayed in this hotel several times over the years and have always enjoyed my stays! I can not fault the staff ss they were friendly and efficient. Cleanliness and facilities were first class!
Very friendly staff and the hotel is in a great location. We were attending a funeral, the hotel was a very short walk to the church. I love the bar, it's quaint and the turf fire is very welcoming.
Did not have Breakfast in the restaurant only lunch. Food was good, plentiful and the staff were lovely. Hotel was in an excellent location. Would definately stay again.
