The setting is beautiful. So quiet, the gardens are superb. Reception staff were so lovely. And the staff at breakfast were more than friendly and accommodating. The food at the Mill restaurant was exceptional.

Austin was a very gracious and most helpful host. He welcomed us and showed us around our lodging even though our plane was delayed so we arrrived later than expected. He had prepared the room for a chilly night very thoughtfully. The bed and the room were comfortable and cosy; the bathroom spacious and the shower good and easy to use. He brought us a warm, fresh-baked scones in the morning with butter, jam, good strong coffee and tea and a friendly good morning - a wonderful start to the day. All in all a perfect spot to stop the night, feel warm and welcomed and ready to explore.

Room service, reception service and the pool service was exceptional. Staff should be very proud of themselves because i didnt have one issue in my time at the hotel. beds were so comfy also. bathrooms were sparkling clean.

Everything was organised in a very safe way to comply with covid regulations and felt very safe.
I have stayed in this hotel twice now and I've yet to find a hotel like it. Its fab- clean and spacious . Luxurious and great value for money. Will definitely be back !
