Excellent staff, bus stop outside for getting into the city...

Excellent staff, bus stop outside for getting into the city centre, great to catch up with extended family . Ate our evening meal at hotel, it was great. Loved the city centre, so much history and beautiful buildings.

We were expecting a really tired place from the reviews and were pleasantly surprised with a spacious, well equipped room with a comfortable bed. Ok the building looks tired from the outside but surprisingly better on the inside. The staff were very helpful in explaining getting into the city and other information we needed. The breakfast was reasonable with a fair selection. We also had an evening meal one night and it was a good. The location was easy for getting into Dublin city by bus which ran quite frequently.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but very good. The whole atmosphere was low key and calm which made for a relaxing stay. All in all it was very good value for money. The Phoenix Park is a 20 minute walk away and a great place to go for a run or take in some fresh air. So although it isn't the most visually pleasing of hotels, I would happily stay there again, so it obviously has something going for it!

The location was close enough to the national sports centre that we could get there in time for the event. All the staff we met were so friendly and helpful. The room was nice (I liked the sliding door to the bathroom, a great idea!) and the beds were on the firm side, which I personally like. Breakfast was lovely with limited menu but tasted great. And I loved the old hotel vibe and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The staff were super friendly and answered any questions we had. The bus stop was conveniently across the street that we used to go into Dublin. Rooms were very comfortable and everything was user friendly. Excellent stay and great value for Dublin. Restaurant inside hotel was good also. Would highly recommend and stay again.

The hotel was excellent with convenient parking, and helpful reception staff who recommended a great spot in Dublin center. We enjoyed a delightful evening at an Irish pub based on their suggestion. The room was comfortable, and the Irish breakfast was delicious. The waitress was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The staff were always polite & helpful by booking taxis for us to head into Dublin. The rooms were very clean & they were cleaned on the Saturday even though we got there on Friday & only had one night left. Definitely worth the 10-15 minute taxi trip into the city centre considering the prices of the hotels there.

The hotel was really great! Location is perfect for us, Dublin is too busy to drive. So the hotel have Bus station in front. It was very easy to go to city centre. Next time I will repeat, because the location is easy when you rent a car and exit from Dublin was very fast to take the highway
