The location is very good.
We don't need any kind of transport to explore the city, you can get 50 mts from the hotel or the tourbus and to the airport about 800 mts.
With a welcome drink at the hotel bar that has live music on the weekend
I stayed on the 5th floor, I couldn't hear much music.
The room was very clean as well as the maintenance during the days I stayed was daily.
Great facilities locally. Major shopping but hotel is off the beaten track and quiet. Great ambience and facilities without leaving. Traffic congestion for going into the city at rush hours exceptionally bad. Cinemas, Olympic size pool etc all nearby.

Room price was too high for vacation travelers, yet lower then other similar facilities, and appears to be set for business travelers on expense accounts. Location is far from any sites of vacationers interest. However, I knew this when I booked and chose facility because we needed to extend our stay a few days, the price was lowest and facility was relatively close to airport.

Very disappointed to arrive back at hotel at 11pm following a concert to find that the bar was closed. After expressing our disappointment to the receptionist she arranged for us to have a drink in the foyer area. A lot of other guests arrived back after us and we’re in the same predicament. We were informed that the hotel was quiet and so they decided to close the bar early???

Blancherstow is a small and quite City less than half an hour from the City center of Dublin. There are many shopping centers and a plenty place for parking. Transportations to Dublin's city center are easy to access.
Staff were excellent. Raul and Ruaraigh in Bar 22 were top notch. The hotel has their Covid precautions well thought-out. Their meat and cheese platter was memorable. Having the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were important for us. This hotel meets expectations. Those looking for something special, then perhaps look elsewhere. We enjoyed our time and will be back.
This may be a pro or con depending on your situation: the hotel is very family friendly with a lot of children present at all times.
There was a very wide range of food available for breakfast and the quality of food was good.
We also ate dinner at the hotel one night.
Again a very good selection of meals and the service was very good.I
Lovely clean room and bathroom with everything you could need.
Location was good. Easy to travel into Dublin City Centre by bus.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful, particularly Martin the Concierge who was could not do enough for us.
We liked the constant cleaning of hotel very Covid safe . Cleaners in every area of the hotel. Plenty of staff on to serve drinks and food. The staff were friendly and implemented social distancing through our the hotel. Great evening menu to choose from and again staff very attentive and polite. We will be going back soon. We felt very safe and enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here whilst visiting tayto park (15minutes drive away) and walked across to the shops at blanchardstown the following day. The breakfast was beautiful and not over crowded for a Sunday morning. The rooms were clean and had plenty of towels for a family of 4 to shower.
Very clean, comfortable room. Great food options. Close to the airport but it doesn't feel like it. It might make a good base for exploring Dublin. It doesn't have a quaint atmosphere but I wasn't looking for that on this stay.
Great location if visiting the Blanchardstown shopping centre
Room was one of the biggest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in - very spacious
Great amenities e.g. the dyson fan
Great selection of food for breakfast
Convenient location to Dublin Airport & access to convenient bus service to downtown Dublin.
The staff was very friendly from the front desk to the cleaning supervisor lady making us feel very welcome.
The hotel was lovely, reception and bar/breakfast staff friendly. The room was clean, tidy and well maintained. It was convenient for the shopping centre and a great base for visiting our relatives.
The location of The Carlton is only 25 minutes from downtown Dublin and 15 minutes from the airport. Very easy for traveling while also avoiding city traffic. Decent amenities.
everything! from the second we walked in the staff were unbelievable. all smiling and very welcoming!
hard to believe the same company at Dublin airport has such low standards
Hotel is fabulous decor wise and very friendly and helpful staff, location great especially for shopping and so much choice of shops and restaurants within the area
