Our hosts were friendly, helpful, had an excellent knowledge of the area and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent with more than enough food to set anyone up for the day. We felt more like family or friends than guests. The outside facilities were just right if you liked to spend time there, with great views both from our room and the outside area.

Perfectly located to explore the Wicklow mountains and Glendalough is a short drive away. The B&B is very nice and cozy. Our room, very spacious, was very well furnished and the private bathroom, also big, had an excellent shower! We only spent 1 night, but it was very comfortable and resting. Shelly is a very welcoming host and she really takes care of her guests: we happened to say during check-in that we follow a sort of a "vegan" diet and in the morning she provided us with oats milk: we really appreciated it! Breakfast is abundant and varied
Great scenic location. Easy to get to and find.
Very friendly hosts and staff. Accommodation nice and clean including shower, room, bed and facilities. A lovely setting with great views.
I would happily book a room there again. Very pleased.

Really enjoyed our stay in Avoca.
Really enjoyed our stay in Avoca. You do need a car to get around and see the beautiful scenery. We walked to the Miners Cross a bit of a hike but doable and the view from the top was breathtaking. We had to eat outside of Avoca and chose Wooden bridge which we would recommend. The meeting of the waters is a beautiful location and you can enjoy a pint in their pub. Its a bit run down but it is still a beautiful place to enjoy a drink or a coffee :-)

Avoca is a quaint and tranquil old time town but yet had all the modern conveniences we have grown accustomed to but this take away from the relaxing atmosphere of the beautiful surroundings. It is central too all the other points of interest travellers would be interested in like glendalough, powers court waterfall, estate and gardens. It also is the place we're ballykissangel was set which allows vustmitiers a chance to visit the location of the programme. Its small in stature but makes a big impression.

We visited Glendalough and hiked through some of the trails to the very scenic lakes and waterfall. A car is the best way to get around Avoca to see the sights. We had a delicious bowl of seafood chowder in the pub at the Wooden Bridge Hotel. Avoca is a lovely place to visit.

A stunning area with lots to explore.
A stunning area with lots to explore. The Avoca Mill is a must. We loved Glendalough and also the Greenan Maze. The Motte stone provides stunning views of the area, but it was a challenge to find! The nearby Killmacurragh Gardens were lovely too.
Pleasantly surprised by this B&B!! EVERYTHING was perfect! The room was modern and clean, the bed was confortable, we had a big TV screen with NETFLIX. The location is beautiful and so romantic, we had access to a common terrace viewing the rivers and nature.
The staff was very nice and helpful. Delicious breakfast with a view!!
Regarding the quality of the services, the prices for both the room and the breakfast were extremely cheap. We already have recommended the address to our friends and family!!
Location was breathtaking, the view from the breakfast table was something to behold, the service was excellent , very helpful, food was great, the local people that used the establishment were very helpful and courteous to me , nestled on two rivers that meet, it was just a wonderful stay , so much that I booked another visit 4 weeks after my stay,
Beautiful location the room was very clean recently refurbished. It was my 2nd time staying here the location itself does it for me . The hotel over looks the meetings of the waters. The tv in the room was fantastic netflix etc, management and staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.
Lovely area, and the cottage itself is just absolutely charming. The garden is nice too, and the weather allowed us to have breakfast outside several times. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Avoca is close by, Arklow within easy driving distance.
