I like everything from this hotel. It's exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and huge (we stayed in a deluxe double room). All the amenities work well (hot water, television, air conditioner), and large parking space. For Moslem, they also provided praying mats and clothes. You can order breakfast in the hotel, but there were many other food options for breakfast around the hotel. Last, the staff were amazing. So, definitely will be back to Alzara next time we travel to Wonosari or Gunung Kidul.

I must say that this place was absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's location is simply perfect, offering stunning views of Mount Merapi and the Prambanan site. The gardens are exquisitely designed, the pool is enormous and inviting, and the restaurant serves delicious food with impeccable service.

Willy and Arie are super nice hosts. It was nice to conversate with Willy about Yogya history and traditions. They were really helpful in suggesting how to organize our visits. The food was very good, the swimming pool is beautiful and available h24, the room was spacious.

Strategic location, 30 min-1 hr drive to several destinations in Gunung Kidul (including Goa Jomblang), helpful staff, rooms were fairly clean and tidy, breakfast, rooms have air conditioning, spacious room, indoor bathroom, parking space, communal kitchen, late check-in possible.
If you plan to travel mainly in Gunung Kidul area, this place is a better option to save driving time compared to staying in Jogja city centre.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Also located strategically in one of main road in Wonosari, Gunung Kidul. Where you can easily access the hotel.
The staff was really helpful, they response immediately to your request, such as when we ask for additional towels and to put next day bottle water in front of our room.
