I got what I came for - the cliffs, the surfers, the amazing tucked-away beaches, and a gem of a hotel. Uluwatu continually surprises - though I only had a few days to enjoy it, a highlight was watching the surfing off of Suluban, and my favorite cultural activity was the sunset kecak performance at Uluwatu Temple - unmissable!

Uluwatu would be great if you are into surfing and beach. Not many restaurants or shopping if that’s what you are into. I found a good massage place and a couple of cool vegan eateries. I only went to Uluwatu because a retreat that I had booked fell through so I decided to head closer to the airport as these were my last 4 days. Lots of rubbish and construction in Uluwatu. I ate at Alchemy a lot and it was great people watching and my massage and awesome scrub was at a place called something like Lineka

Nice coast, good for experienced surfers. Various beaches to visit. Good places to eat though a bit more expensive that other parts of Bali. Less culture here, quite western which was reflected in the menu choices. Uluwatu temple is worth a visit.

I liked beaches and its handy proximity to other beaches. Not overcrowded. I even rent a bike because of less transportation compared to Ubud. I like cuisine, cafes, vibe and others stuff. I really enjoyed my staying Uluwatu because of the beaches.

Uluwatu is a brilliant place to surf and relax. A lot of the accommodations are on cliff sides and have spectacular views, this can also mean difficult area for the people who need easier access to facilities.

Our stay was absolutely delightful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our every need was met and supporting us every time (we had a problem with the scooter’s tire and they immediately supported us and brought the scooter ready to be used again). The villa itself was beautifully appointed with modern amenities, highlighted by an amazing private pool and view to the mountain. Location was very good, 5 minutes ride from center of Uluwatu.
Also, big plus, they provide a scooter for you to move around Uluwatu and Bali!
Amazing local hotel owed by two Balinese brothers Eddie and chery who are fantastic persons. The location is fabulous, quiet and you can easily go to the nicest spots in uluwatu with a scooter (we rented it from the hotel). The staff was very sweet and they always arranged us with whatever we needed. The swimming pool is surrounding the ocean and the view is so beautiful at sunrise and sunsets!!! This hotel is perfect and I wish Eddie and chery all the best :) we can not wait to come back and visit them again 🔆
Overall it was the best experience I have had in yet in Bali .The architecture of the villa and design features are stunning .Location was great for my wife ,friends and I. It’s walkable distance to Uluwatu Surf villas. The villa was exceptionally clean. The villa manager, Kadek was on it! She organize our late night airport transfer, rental bikes and she even booked us at home massages.
Would love to stay with this crew again and thanks for the wonderful experience!
Uluwatu was our last stop in Bali, and I can say that we ended our vacation in the best way possible by spending the last days at Wira. Spacious room with a huge and comfortable bed, excellent pool, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff is very attentive and polite. We will definitely be back!
