Great hotel with value for money, the location is superb with lots of delicious eating places within walking distance (recommended Livingstone for your brunch needs), however the traffic to reach the hotel is horrendous by car especially in the evening and on Friday-Saturday
As for the hotel itself, the reception could use some work (when I arrived at 8pm Friday there was no one to greet me or help direct the car I was on, just the front desk officer on standby)
Other than that the staff are friendly and helpful, facilities look great, the room is very spacious & clean for the price, bathroom & shower's good (hot water a bit lacking but still serviceable) and I got the paddy view which is beautiful. The AC is frickin' cold (even at 25C temp it feels like sub 20, which is good for the sweltering hot climate).

Seminyak is a big area so there are quiet parts and really busy parts depending on where you are staying. Where I was, it was a bit of a walk to most cafes and shops so my hosts often drove me where I wanted to get to. Most staff spoke great english and gave great recommendations on where to eat, which beaches are good, great massage places etc. They had good tips on avoiding traffic and travel times. I love my live music and they found some great places with good vibes.

Seminyak is a hub of activity. Good shopping and beauty services. It is frenetic though. You do deel like you are gpi g to be run over everytime you cross a road. Footpathas are considered just another road lane.

I was last in Bali in 2022 and stayed in Kuta at that time, and I found the Seminyak area more pricey and you were more reliant on things like grab to get from one location to another as things were quite spread out there. I should have spent less time here as to be honest apart from the beach walks, nice sunsets and live music I did not really enjoy much here. I found it more a slow vibe.

Seminyak was enjoyable. Plenty of restaurants and shops. However, we could see and smell trash when we visited the beach (beach is way overrated). It is not a walker’s town as the sidewalks are super narrow and uneven. If you want to explore, it’s really too hot to walk around that much, but you’ll have plenty of scooters/cars/taxis to help you get around. Best part: the people. Every local we met was just fantastic. Always smiling. Always friendly. The people made our stay memorable.

Trans Resort feels more like a 6 star hotel. The rooms are huge, outdoor jacuzzi is amazing, towels and bath mats are plush and luxurious, bed is big and very comfortable, pillow menu is much appreciated, breakfast esp the Indonesian counter is simply delicious, housekeeping staff were brilliant, the beach pool and slide was great for the kids, main pool is very relaxing, staff were overall fantastic, location is central yet you are away from the traffic noise. A true oasis in Seminyak. One of the best 5 star hotels I have been to!
Hotel/Staff: Extra little touches to help make the stay memorable. Loved the farewell gift of the photo taken upon arrival. Staff were really friendly and always checked in to make sure everything was okay.
Location: Off the heart of Seminyak and located on one of the smaller alleys. But we loved it that way as it was away from the hustle and bustle on the main road. The beach was within walkable distance.
Room: Stayed in the One-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool. Room was spacious and comfortable.
In my opinion this is the best hotel in Bali. The hotel. It is clean and the hotel street is very nice having lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
