We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt immersed in a tranquil and authentic Balinese atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. Despite being close to everything, the hotel is located in a quiet area, providing the perfect escape.
The staff were beyond friendly—some of the best hospitality we've ever experienced. A special mention to Edy, Ita, and Ferri in the restaurant, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for.
Breakfast was delightful, with a wide variety of options. As vegans, traveling can sometimes be tricky, but the chefs were amazing—they prepared fresh vegan meals daily and there were other suitable options on the buffet. Their willingness to accommodate our dietary needs was truly appreciated.
The hotel also offered special dinner programs on certain nights, including Balinese dance performances, jazz evenings, and live musicians, adding to the cultural and relaxing vibe of our stay.
The pool area was stunning, surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden that created a serene and relaxing atmosphere. We loved spending time there, soaking up the peaceful ambiance.

I usually base myself in Ubud, but it's getting too busy there and walking around isn't pleasant, so I've been given Sanur a try. Sanur is a good choice for those who want access to shopping and places to eat without the busy-ness of Kuta/Seminyak area and with a bit more local life than Nusa Dua. I have swum at the beach, but like most Balinese beaches, it suffers from too much rubbish and can get quite shallow. It is quite walkable, with the walkway along the beach and good footpaths.
There are really great places to eat in Sanur, especially at the cheaper end of the spectrum. I am not the biggest shopping fan, but there are some nice boutiques and the new Icon Mall is very good (though not great for local traffic).

Sanur is very relaxed compared to other areas of Bali, the beach front esplanade is great to wander and find your favourite restaurant or cafe. The new Icon mall is a great escape from the heat (Airconditioning), very modern mall with shops, restaurants, cinemas and timezone for the kids.
Friendly locals and no crowds. Sanur is amazing.

We have been visiting sanur for about 10 years as a family. Sanur is a great family area. There are many warungs and restaurants to choose from. They all serve delicious Indonesian food. There is many spas, all at reasonable pricing and great service. We love sanur!

Great location right on the beach with sunbeds for guests. Lovely and well maintained garden in a quiet area of Sanur. Facilities were good, staff were very friendly. Room not very big but comfortable with a small balcony. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice.
Building works next door but I didn't hear any noise in the evening or during the day on the beach. Didn't need the earplugs provided by the hotel.
Stunning location on the beach at Sanur. My room was near the beach - not with a view - but I felt I was in paradise. The room was large, comfortable and they provide free water in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious. Close to an abundance of great Day Spas and plenty of other food choices for lunches and dinners wandering away from the hotel.
Nice swimming pool located in a gorgeous garden with rich vegetation. The hotel is a bit outdated, especially the rooms but all in all is good, if you pay below 50 euros a night. It’s not on the beach but literally 2 min walk and you get to the gorgeous beach of Sanur full of bars and shops. Staff was very helpful
The main reasons I selected this hotel was the location and value for money; it is in the heart of Sanur, with beachfront one end and the main street at the other end. And well priced. The hotel is old style Bali, nice gardens and pools.
